As a Slack user myself, I find this quite useful from time to time. I know that we have forum here where we can post and talk about our strategies and losses but a messenger like Slack provides us some easiness when it comes to chatting to other people (that's why it is a messaging app). Will probably drop by there and check other people's messages. Sharing tips about your bets is not new in this industry but it always provide you a somewhat satisfying feeling when you are talking about your gambling ventures to other people that you don't know.

when you start offering free drinks like in the real casinos just to sit and spin a penny machine this could become a great thing but until the free jack and coke is dropped in front of me i prefer to keep those reels spinning for the freebies

@ everyone being negative
It's very much possible to do this. Only one problem, this already exists in the form of a discord called bitcoin gamble talk

The slack group will just look like an advertising opportunity for other gambling sites obviously.
Actually yeah that will happen eventually if the group becomes popular, newer gambling sites will see this as free advertising and take the opportunity. It's not entirely bad if the advertising is kept in control, it's good for gamblers as they would get to know some new websites.

this can be a good venue to share your knowledge and to begin learning as well from those who understand the games, i would like to see if there's
more people who will might be interested with this slack, good luck to you mate hope you reach more followers and members to bring your slack into
a great success.

Actually this is not a good thing, most people will only cry on their loss after long game. This is always happened as people are too greedy, I just check the slack and it said about dice. What can you hope for dice game? I know it is based on your luck but it does not mean you can keep being lucky and get profit all the time if you can't control your balance. If I remembered it well, there is already this kind of threads on BCT so we do not really need this

see you there

Almost all the gambling websites have a chat-feature where the players are suppose to "hangout".Do you really think they'll give  a shit about another slack group ? No wonder all the third party groups would be filled with gambling addicts begging of satoshi's unlike gambling chat boxes where  they get banned for doing so.

Don't really think this is going to become popular.

For one we got the Bitcointalk forum to complain about our losses and discuss strategies.

And if not, most gambling sites have their own form of troll box which always seems to be very active.

Either way good luck with your idea.

I think bitcointalk forum threads are much better to learn things than slack discussion because in slack you can't check all these posts if more people joined and keep on posting comments. Some people may like this idea but I don't like it. I'm more comfortable to read comments on forum threads than slack discussions.

all good points but IMHO it is good to run side by side (BCT and SLACK) and please understand that slack is real time and many gamblers are more than on one site and could see some nice whale action or spontaneous promos and inform other gamblers in slack in real time.

I like the idea
Having both mediums would really be interesting since you can able to post up or express regarding on your ideas or the times of grudge when you do lose in gambling but as far as i observed people do really prefer to post here on this forum seeing that there are much more people who do interacts but yet its not filtered though unlike on slack which we assume that most people there are gamblers. I like this idea too.
