sometimes you should go in big even though it is possible to start small.

in other words, when you want to start a new business you should think about how to make it (more) profitable and that can only be achieved by "spending money".

for example you need lots of money for advertising. and if you take it lightly and think about making everything cheaper you can never earn that trust you need to be successful.

Why not use moneypot.com?

You'll have to split your site's profits with them, but they will supply the bankroll for you, so you won't have to worry about losing all your bitcoins or not having enough to run a gambling site.

it is hard to say because it depends on a lot of factors.

but i think the best approach is (as for the first step) to start watching other similar gambling sites to what you want to start and see their stats and see how much they are transferring.

then as the second step you should either partner up with some others who have experience in this field (someone who has made a gambling site and manged it before) or start small and do some testing to find out how things should be handled.

you can start with one bitcoin if you want , it's not about how much you need to start it's all about how much units you are ready to risk with max bet and does it worth the try or not

This is a good method If you don't have much money to build own website then better invest your money in the reputated site. You will get good profit. Creating new site is easy, but the maintaining site is a tough job. Once you enter market means, you have to maintain the site reputation. Once you get any negative comments aginst your site then your investment will gone. So think twice before start new site.

you have to consider the costs of the domain and a strong hosting plan and also the cost for the designing of the site and the security team also a support team.

but also you can always start much smaller and over time grow your business as more people come to play and you can also accept investments like what other sites are doing.

If you only have 10x max profit, you are basically expected to lose all your bankroll.

I actually don't know the theory behind the Kelly criterion, but the practical side is:

Safe BRM: 0.5 - 1x kelly * house edge = max profit. So if your game has a 1% HE, you should have around 100-200x the max profit. If the game has a 2% HE this would be 50-100x the BR. This "max profit" definitely should be dynamic too, so adjust upon losses (and wins.)

But if people come to know that your site is having very less bankroll and you don't allow them to bet a bigger amount then mostly you will get a good quality traffic to your site. But you will mostly people who want to play with faucet money so if you want to start then start with some decent bankroll. Good luck to you...

It depend on how much maximum profit you are offering in a single bet, if you have nice gambling site with unique script and graphics than you can run gambling business, marketing is the key to make successful any business and interesting promotions will be helpful to get positive result.

You can come up with any amount of bankroll, but if you want to make a profit from your business, then you should have a huge bankroll. If not someone will come with big money and take way all your bankroll within no time. So bigger the bankroll then your safe. You can start with decent 100+ BTC bankroll and excluding marketing amount.
