Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.

That's actually a very good idea, because some people want more privacy than Bitcoin or other altcoins can offer, so by creating Monero casino you can fill that spot in the market. From technical standpoint there shouldn't be much differences between Bitcoin and Monero casino site. You can also expand your currency options to Dash and Zcash as they are also anonymous, so you can offer your players more options in the same field.

It is good for casino sites that offers altcoins rather than only bitcoin for players to gamble with, with bitcoin miner fees on the rise, I have seen a lot of players gambling with altcoins on casino sites, and monero is an altcoin that is worth investing, and one of the other advantage is the faster confirmation for deposit and withdrawal.

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.
Monero ?? IMO not many people like to bet with altcoins especially monero because people prefer to use altcoins for a trade and maybe my other reason there are not too many crypto currency gambling sites that accept altcoins

I think whoever mine these altcoins then they prefer to use them in gambling without going for exchanging to another currency. And some people want to gamble with these altcoins because they think that Bitcoin prices went up very high. Even though they may be betting the same amount in terms of usd but these guys go for altcoins. It all depends on individual and I mostly gambling with bitcoins and sometimes only with other altcoins.
I think it is just the matter of purpose , if you want to grow your investment in altcoin through gambling then it is makes sense.
But still you won't get better result and better situation as gambling in the long run never be easy.
Lets take justdice as an example , the site accept clam as their currency and so far they are so successful.

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Its not a bad idea knowing that using altcoins on gambling site is a good alternative when we are basing on confirmation times of deposits but as of now we are on bitcoin world which means gamblers commonly do make use of bitcoin and you should put it on your site as a main token, having altcoin would only also a side option because there are still some gamblers do really like to play with altcoin deposits.
I think now people are stopped to use bitcoin in gambling because of the BTC price hike. No one is ready to lose their BTC for their entertainment purpose. So people started to mine altcoins and if any site allowed altcoins to bet they will use that site for gambling. People are saving bitcoins for future use. Gambling with Monero looks good it will attract many players to their site, and here many people are ready to do gamble with Monero.

Gambling is never a good idea. Always keep your altcoins on hold as you never know when they can rise up to the sky like bitcoin did few years ago.
I wouldn’t want to gamble with Monero since the coin did not have as much history as Bitcoin does. Monero has a much larger chance of dropping in value compared to Bitcoin since it’s just an Altcoin.

Bitcoin is one of the things that I would gamble with because the price of it is very likely to not have a drastic drop in value in an hour or so after I place my bet. Monero is very risky, I wouldn’t recommend it.

I think it's not good to gamble with monero too, makes no sense for me and it can be bad. Example: I exchange my bitcoins to monero to play and while I'm playing, bitcoin pumps and increase its price a lot.
What means I lose the pump because my coins were in monero, that can't give the profit that bitcoin does. And it's hard to find a casino accepting monero.

Actually no, gambling with altcoins can offer significant advantages.

For instance, using dogecoin is able to save you a lot on transaction fees, and the minimum bet is lower. Using monero/dash on the other hand will give you better privacy of your funds. So if you don't want someone to look at your bitcoin wallet and ask you what you spent it on, monero is pretty useful because nobody can see your wallet details publicly.

As typos said though, the monero core team is already operating their own dice site. I simply do not see how you can survive with so much competition.
What dice site is monero core team is already operating on their own?

How can cloudbet be listed for taking monero?
Last time I was one there their casinos only accepted bitcoin as a way of playing on them.
That was a while ago because now they are looking to doing an exit scam by not paying their customers their winnings for weeks and some months.

Hello friends,

My contribution to this would be for a new site coming on board, the basic currency is bitcoin which is something to be consider as a start but along the line, you can start pursuing your interest directly. Because by doing that you would have gotten your market share and the moment users are loyal, they won't mind any currency to play with according to your dictates by leveling on the current diffculites bitcoin is witnessing to swerve to your initial plan from the beginning.

Lol, i think you didn't notice the post #8. scroll up!!
I think he forget to mention fortunejack.com
You can gamble with monero, btc, dash, nmc, eth, clam, rdd, ltc, xdg & nvc.

Yes he did lol. AFAIK, NMC,CLAM,RDD,NVC are no longer available on fortunejack.

It would be better if people can gamble with other coins.  It will bring more community to your site.
It's true, but managing so many altcoins is going to be difficult and costly(especially for a new site). i guess op could start with monero first and see the response or use a platform like moneypot/betking(upcoming).

somebody said monero is good, somebody said need alt coins, somebody said that bitcoin is leader.

It would be better if you add the top coins to the gambling site so that all of the gamblers can gamble easily. Adding a single coin will make other coin holders go away. Think about it.

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.
Yeah , we would like to make gambling with the altcoins with monero and also with other .
Here it will be new revolution in the gambling field .
Since we have the fascilty to make gambling at the directbet.eu with the ETH but still I  think we need
Some other altcoins for the gambling because ETH needed a better amount of fee and also about
Montero has the equality of the fee , so I think it would be more better to add altcoins like doge , dgb,
Edr  like big altcoins which has very low fee ( about free transaction ) and we can come back each time
For the gambling .
So you should start your gambling site with the altcoins with monero , you will surely get better response
By the gamblers .

That will be bad idea, you should accept multiple altcoins because monero community is not quite strong right now so you may not get enough players. But along with bitcoin you can accept multiple other alts with inbuilt exchange features.
He probably only wants to offer Monero because of the anonymity aspect perhaps?

OP, I think it will definitely be difficult to attract enough players with Monero alone, I would at least add some other altcoins to the website.
Dash perhaps?

What if he attaches a mini exchange to the gambling website where whatever Altcoin or Bitcoin you have in your possession could be exchanged for monero before you place your bet ? I think that will work because unlike ShapeShift you wouldn't be charged for the conversion but the amount will be in monero equivalent as it was in your other Altcoin.

Idea is good but other coins conversion to monero and play is very big implement it will be as for that the store should be ready to use it and the conversion price should be ready to change according to the exchange price. But if you can install this service then you gambling site will become more famouse

It's best if the coin moved to monero conversion with a very big play can be implemented so that the shop should be able to menggunakanya and change it with the foreign price so you can install this service to the site more convenient and reliable gambling while playing the gambling.

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that the actual monero core team or one of their members ahs already created monerodice. So you'll have a ton of competition from them as they generally generate pretty good gaming volumes. The url is https://monerodice.net/ just in case you want to check it out. There's also safedice which is an established company and you can invest in their bankroll. So really there is no point in creating your own.

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

It's not a bad idea. It'll depend on how you treat your site. If you're able to attract more people to come to your site and make them feel at home then you have a chance to be success even though you only accept monero. Sustainable promotions can help you to achieve it!
You got the point but it will be still a bright idea if you accepting multiple crypto's than one altcoin because some gamblers honestly are lazy just to exchange their bitcoin or money into monero going to trading site just to exchange and play gambling with monero..
They will choose a site where they can easily gamble since many bitcoin gambling casino than monero.. unless if you have a unique game maybe you can attract them for promotion with bonuses to try the unique if they are wanted your game maybe you can gain more gambler to gamble in your site..

I think making a gambling site would be profitable especially if there are a lot of players. Knowingly, if they deposit some of their bitcoins to the site and just gamble it easily or just without thinking, that's where you get the money from. Players would be attracted to possible currencies and just monero won't be enough I guess.

I say go for it, as you have mentioned that your gambling site will be different from other one's and will be having the feature of gambling without registration, Monero is near to perfect for that idea. People might hesitate at first but if your gameplay is good then gamblers will try it for sure.
If you are confident enough that people will love it then go for it.

It would be a good idea if you do make more lots of coins to choose from not only on monero because there are already lots of gambling sites who do accept monero on playing to their site which means this feature isn't new anymore since people or players could able to play by using it but still a good option though rather than on putting btc alone.

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.
I will suggest you not for only monero but also other famous altcoins  . Because currently the transaction fee
Very high for the Bitcoin ( about 0.001+ minimum fee ) and in this way we are lossing much amount of the money .
So idea of gambling with another altcoins is really cool . I mean if we can make gambling with the digibyte coin ,
Dash coin , eth , Montero , ripple , 1337, doge coin. Then the transaction fee for special last coins like doge coin will
Be about zero .
I would like to suggest you for the suggested all altcoin , you should include in your gambling site , so that will became
The reason of revolution of gambling in new way .

That could work indeed, but it's a whole different ballgame to also run an exchange aside with a casino and you'd need a way bigger investment for that.

I mean it's not impossible, Crypto-Games recently implemented an option to exchange Bitcoins and altcoins, but only after operating for a few years.
including the mini exchanger might help but that would only make it more complicated. especially without a fee convert it will only harm your site. for example if winning bets they will gain monero profit and exchange it to bitcoin without fee. it's better to add a bitcoin or another altcoin as a bet without a mini exchanger.

No as many mentioned that monero community is still a developing one and I'm pretty sure your site will be a fail l.
Instead what you can do is start a bitcoin gambling site and as you see the site growing allow people to deposit the alts you like also and in this way you will already get the reputation you needed from bitcojn plus there is a chance of people wanting to gamble with alts also

If you are planning to do something, just do it without thinking about it twice, just think about the technical feasibility and the risk involved in running a gambling site,if you could many players then it is your win even if you roll with a single coin, but it is advisable to give the options to the users rather than going for just Monero.
that's right before starting your casino better to ask the players/gamblers since that they are the target audience there's a lots of things to consider monero is not cheap so for those pro gamblers for sure they will stick with btc instead of using alts so you should consult your target audience mate and with price swing its also needed to consider.

I understood that monero is not good for gamling.
dogecoin is cheap.
i think about adding dogecoin

The advantage by gambling with DOGE is that you can bet since very low amounts like 1 satoshi of DOGE. It's a really low amount and maybe you would like to try some strategies starting from such low amounts. Between Monero and DOGE, I would choose DOGE.

On long term it probably won't work anyway...

Whether it's bitcoin or altcoins, my go is sports betting. Among different games that are available I always prefer making a betting on tennis game than anything else. These days more gambling websites have started accepting more and more altcoins.

if there are any option to deposit cheap altcoin like dogecoin, then maybe i will playing gambling in that site but before i am played, i will deposit some amount to my account so i can directly start to played. i think to gambling with monero is not good for me, because the price of monero is too high and its too value to just for playing gambling games. for me, i think its better to hold monero and not used for playing gambling and i am prefer to use another altcoins which is more cheap than monero.

If you are planning to do something, just do it without thinking about it twice, just think about the technical feasibility and the risk involved in running a gambling site,if you could many players then it is your win even if you roll with a single coin, but it is advisable to give the options to the users rather than going for just Monero.

Just to try to take advantage of the current mess that bitcoin is going through. Casino users are getting tired of long confirmation times and big fees. Casinos deal with a lot of inputs and outpost so when you withdraw you may get a big fee.

Use litecoin in your exchange, I think this one may be big for casino usage if bitcoin doesn't solve the scaling problem.

Whether it's bitcoin or altcoins, my go is sports betting. Among different games that are available I always prefer making a betting on tennis game than anything else. These days more gambling websites have started accepting more and more altcoins.

It is not a good idea if you only accept one coin and that coin is alt coin, not a lot of people is keeping alt coin and want to played with monero because it only can be used as token not as investment, so let say if the gambler won then he need to exchange it to other coin immediately, because if he keep it for too long it had a chance to lose money by holding it

Hello friends,

How think if I start Gambling site use only Monero.. is this good idea or not?

Thanks.

i think its not a good idea as i don't want to use monero for placing a bet because for me, monero is too expensive to buy and only use for gambling. i am prefer with dogecoin because dogecoin is still cheap and its no need to waiting for a long time to deposit and arrive in my account.

I never understood people who say X is to expensive to gamble with

Like, what the fuck  Huh

You're playing in the FIAT equivalent, how can anything be too expensive to gamble with o.o

Seems like a good idea. Gambling is huge in crypto and casinos need liquidity that's fast and cheap to transact. Bitcoin is becoming increasingly the opposite of this. So if I had a casino, I would list Monero and Litecoin. ETH will meet the same fate, its blockchain is growing too fast.

Why not? You will not know if you will not pursue? Try to check the traffic and usage for a given trial date then if things are not working well then try to add other cryptocurrency. Just-Dice with Clams got a nice experience so possibility for your work to become a success have a chance.

Just give it a shot even it has risk since that is investment should be. Just properly maintained the site with good features that every gamblers wants. What are those features? If you will be the owner then I know you already knows those things.

I think that it is a good idea to offer other coins as well for gambling and not btc only. I suggest LTC, Doge, ETH or even Monero like you suggested. Monero's advantage of course is its anonymity. But I don't know if gamblers will exchange their btc to monero just to play. I think its pretty much still dominated by btc in terms of online gambling.

Hello friends,

I think it's very important to keep as much coin options as possible. At least the major ones, and monero would be a good option, but never as the only option. I think you should always get BTC at least, and then more options, with lower fees etc.

Why not accept both Bitcoin and Monero?  This way you can cater two communities.  It is always better to have multiple target audience if in case the other audience does not clicked.  I think choosing monero is good but accepting bitcoin will assure you that you will have players in your site.  Just make sure you players will have a great experience while playing in your site.
Yes now only one cryptocurrency bitcoin people know more in this world. Most of the bitcoin users also don't know about this Monero. So with this coin, if you allow other cryptocurrency means you will get more players. Specially bitcoin most of the people like to play gambling with bitcoin. Now the price is high, so people are turned to other altcoins.

.. is this good idea or not?

Sure, why not. It is not different to Bitcoin gambling. It is even better because Monero offers better privacy. I gambled with Monero on my own. You can use this sites for Monero gambling:

https://www.crypto-games.net
https://www.cloudbet.com/en/casino
https://safedice.com
and finally
https://monerodice.net

Bitcoins are still king and every aspect of the gambling industry. But, everybody is just focusing on bitcoin gambling. If you could pull off a good gambling site with just monero, then you can be a pioneer in that aspect. Though you'll be offering this to a niche market, it may be worth the try.

ok,
I think Monero is good for gambling in the future.

Thanks.
