I am more are Unity 3D/Unreal engine user and fan but CryEngine is known, hopefully the other game engines will follow CryEngine. I don't see people using it though, we need services that encourage people to use bitcoin and not just accepting it. If developers want to buy assets from the CryEngine marketplace then they will use traditional payment methods unless they actually own or know bitcoin.

My only complaint - why so late? Steam integrated bitcoin payments a year ago - it should be clear sign for the rest of gaming industry that Bitcoin is the way.
Another interesting fact - Crytek accepted bitcoin in the midst of scaling debate - it is good to see they are not scared of potential internal bitcoin's problems.

So I just receive an email from CryEngine, a pay-what-you-want (AAA) game development engine, stating that it is accepting Bitcoin as a mode of payment for it pay-what-you-want business modal. And they "will be integrating Bitcoin payments across the CRYENGINE platform, including for CRYENGINE Marketplace".

Personally for me, I am a CryEngine email subscribers for sometimes already. However I never actually have the chance to use the game development engine because my general-purpose Notebook is unable to handle the high graphic demand.

What about you? Are you a game developer? Do you think it have any effect on you as a Bitcoiner? And how will the future of crypto gaming (not gambling) be?
