Does the fact that the hackers demanded a ransom to not leak the episodes paid with bitcoin will influence the greater public to demonize bitcoin?

I never played that game, but I felt I had to comment. To Make it look like that bitcoin is just a tool for criminals to make suspicious transactions and get away with it ?I do not agree that BTC is only used for crime. Crime is an individual intention and bitcoin is not the only tool to do it. Unfair statements, in my opinion.
