Do you mean like those games before in Games and Round that actually pays in Bitcoin? I think none of them exist now. Not because of fees but there are lots of blockchain games that used their own governance token instead to applied on the game.

Maybe research instead of those blockchain games outside Bitcoin. There are lots of it and almost on a hype right now.

Yes. I've been searching for such games to no avail. We could say that Bitcoin-based games are extinct because of the high fees and slow transaction processing times. There's hope with the Lightning Network, though. But not everyone use it these days. Altcoins like Ethereum and Bitcoin Cash are more suitable for micropayments than Bitcoin itself. The real problem would be getting game developers to make a game that would pay fractions of a cryptocurrency.

Despite crypto/Blockchain tech's success, the industry lacks behind prominent game developers and game companies that will help it reach a wider audience in the mainstream world. Gambling games are the only ones that are still paying Bitcoin. I hope new games take advantage of the Lightning Network to increase mainstream adoption of Bitcoin worldwide.  Undecided

You can check out my faucet game: https://cute-monsters.com/

It pays Tron, but on FaucetPay you can easily exchange them to BTC Smiley

The old bitcoin faucet I guess is Freebitcoin that until now they keep maintaining their faucet always active, they will never stop it because I guess they saw that it will help to boost their users.

Also others used their own token and have also faucet while others are pure bitcoin to make faucets, sats.

I started on Freebitcoin and it still lives up to its name as the number one site when it comes to faucets, they know that there are newbies coming in and there are new people who will be attracted to free Bitcoin, I refer some of my friends here who are starting out in Cryptocurrency so they will have additional knowledge on how Cryptocurrency works.

Well, as the most common gambling site that used cryptocurrency there are still gambling sites that used bitcoin, and even faucet has still existed and there are people willing to waste their time collecting free sats in the faucet. You can see here [ https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-of-crypto-casinos-with-the-best-faucets-5341966 ] List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets paying crypto or either their tokens. As far as I know, only Freebitco.in was a long-time existed gambling site that offers bitcoin satoshi per transaction. So, there are still there.

It's good to know that there are still there even if new casinos are doing away with faucets, faucets are a big attraction to newbies who wants to first try out their games and their features before depositing and playing, the majority of us here started on faucets I'm one of them and many newbies coming that will be attracted to faucets, faucets will always have a place as long as new people are still coming.
Because this will lure gamblers to visit their site and will I guess stay if they will like it.

Not bitcoin but try these blockchain games (NFT's):

Axie Infinity - ETH, SLP, AXS
MyDefiPet - KAI, BSC
Alien Worlds - TLM, WAX
Prospectors - PGL, WAX
Rplanet - Aether, WAX
Mobox - MBOX

And many more to list. Please DYOR before putting some investment.

Disclaimer: You will be hardly hooked at those Cheesy
Much aware with these games since ive been engaging in 4 of them but we know that this is involving some investment and you wont earn if you wont be putting up on buying up some tools, teams or related to that.
as for axie infinity, you can become a "scholar"([1]). basically, the investor will lend you three(a complete team) axie for you to play. they'll provide you with assistance on what to do or how things work in axie infinity. in return what you earn through playing will be cut in whatever contract the two of you agreed upon. It's a pretty great way to earn extra money without spending money.
It is the main trend now when it comes to that game where you can possibly earn without spending a dime but of course you would really be needing your time and effort which i could say to be normal
but honestly the earnings is way too decent which it isnt surprising that people would really be doing their best to get hired and ive seen lots of people on their facebook page and even other groups
that had been spammed out by lots of resumes and applications for being a scholar and even myself is a bit interested on this one because the money you can earn is really good
if its converted to my local fiat.

I think most of the games now have their own token or accepts different crypto for payments just like the site I played before use different crypto for payments and cash outs but when you play you can choose which crypto you wanted to play. Most of this are on casino where you can only gamble and not receive payment but used bitcoin as payment option rather than play games and receive bitcoin as payment.

There are still a lot of games that are still paying bitcoin because as far as what I am seeing there are still a lot of online and crypto casinos that are offering bitcoin for the payment method and also another cryptocurrency such as ethereum, litecoin, and bnb. Today that we are seeing the huge growth of bitcoin and the huge amount of it in the market still we are seeing games that are paying through bitcoin and another kind of cryptocurrency.

Doesn't Primedice pay in Bitcoin? They only have one game, though, and lately many bad reviews were coming up against them. Idk why, used to be a great website once, maybe something has changed.

Also, some people mentioned faucets here. Honestly, I think it's a waste of time, instead of sitting and waiting for hours to get a penny one could've found a job and earned way more Cheesy

I don't know how about casino websites, seems like they don't offer faucets nowadays, because almost everywhere there's a demo mode in which you can test the game. But here's an exchange https://www.bestchange.com/ where every 60 min one can claim faucets ranging from 1 to 100 satoshis.

But once again, I wouldn't recommend such a thing to anyone who has better things to do in their lives  Cheesy

I do remember the time when we used to play faucets but I do think that if you try playing faucets right now they will pay you "very less" at the same time the sites which engage users with faucets are super fishy, they will redirect you in seconds anywhere.

At the same time you can always gamble with some online games using bitcoins that will enable you to use Bitcoins as the wager and maybe if you are skilled and lucky you can win at last. Other than that I do not think that any other game that pays you for free in Bitcoins will be worth it. I have tried a lot over the years , there was a site on the forum where you had to do micro tasks and then you get rewarded in Bitcoins. That is also an option but then again tasks can be lengthy.

Yes, that's true I started on faucets until I realize it's not worth it and it will take a very long time to reach payout, much better to just buy the coins that you are claiming only newbies will join a faucet site, two or three years from now faucets will become a thing of the past just like cloud mining.
stingy people also try hard for the sake of the faucet...

the faucet was profitable on 5-8 years ago but now totally useless. it's better to immediately make a deposit sats with your own money and then play it right away.

Unfortunately, with the current fee for Bitcoin transfers, it is difficult to keep a game not related to gambling in which you can win micro-prizes (besides faucets).
I recently found this site that rewards for small activities that we do on a daily basis: https://yamgo.com/

Quote
You can earn rewards for the things you already do such as:

Viewing Adverts
Online Shopping
Playing games
Downloading apps
Taking surveys
and more…

But I haven't withdraw from it yet, so check it out at your own risk.

This topic reminds me to some free games where I could earn free btc in the past.
I did even share it here in the forum by creating thread for that game but I share it in local board.
The games are bitcoin2048 and bitcoin flapper (flappy bird game), they were nice and addictive games but they gave better earning than faucet in the past.
In the past few years, I cant find any similar games like that. Perhaps because the high price of bitcoin and expensive fee so it wont really worth for people to collect few satoshi by playing games.

Recently when I trying to find some games try to earn a bitcoin and other coins I found out the NFT games which are coming trend right now mostly as you can see are the given earlier by the other members and most popular are Defi Pet, Axie, Alienworld and more but Afaik I saw a game which is paying a bitcoin as a reward but you need to buy the game first.

Try to figure out the Light Nite Fps game and the reward is bitcoin. I just saw this while finding some more games.

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies right now and many games right now have their own cryptocurrency, but when it comes to gambling games you can still win or earn bitcoin towards it, but you are referring to other cryptocurrency games there are those that earn with the type of coin they make that revolves to their ecosystem, keep in mind that even if other games would surely focus in giving and earning you with their own coins the value of bitcoin still grows due to the demands of these certain games,

I think right now the hype is on with crypto games and NFT's but there are certainly other gambling games that still use bitcoin as their main payment method but the use of it has to lessen dues to the large number of fees needed.

Collecting a few sats would be a waste of time, but if you will gamble what you earn by betting on a high return then it might satisfy you if you are lucky.

I was one of the many who enjoyed playing with faucets in the past, but with the high transaction fee now, we won't be able to enjoy our earnings and the reward has significantly decreased due to the high price of bitcoin.

if during the time when bitcoin was still $200 to $500, I would do it, but now, it's not possible as like others have said, it could be a waste of time.

I've used to play several games which paid small fractions of a Bitcoin (mostly satoshis) within my early days in crypto. But now that crypto/Blockchain tech has become extremely popular, the number of faucets have reduced considerably. Some games I've used to play are no longer paying, as Bitcoin transaction fees went all the way to the moon. Now that we have the Lightning Network, there's hope that game developers would make use of the technology to save off fees. Gambling games (casinos) are the majority in the Bitcoin gaming industry. Still, I'm looking for non-gambling related games that would pay you Bitcoin when you play (just like the old days).

Are there any good games today that pay Bitcoin (satoshis)? If you happen to know of any, please let me know. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I think you are talking about faucets. While many btc paying faucets are closed there are still some around and paying.
You might already know freebitco.in which is a traditional btc paying faucet and it still pays Satoshis. I pays around 6 Satoshis every hour.
They have also introduced the free Wheel of Fortune where we get the opportunity to get more number or Satoshis along with other rewards.
Apart from that there are some gambling sites where we can deposit btc and use it to play the games and get btc rewards.

If you like FPS game you could play CS:GO to earn some satoshi using ZEBEDEE as the third party platform. Honestly I don't know how much they pay and which condition they will paid, AFAIK they will pay after you win the game.

Seems there's MMORPG game that pay Bitcoin in the past, but I don't know if that's game still exist until now.

Before it's not a waste of time, but now I guess it's already a waste of time even if some gambling sites will add faucets on their site. We can earn in other ways, like working online or even a bounty campaign, and bring that earning to a gambling site, honestly, IMO, that faucets are not attractive anymore.

I'm still following this thread though, maybe we can find some gambling sites hat offers great reward for playing, but I highly doubt we will see one.

Yes, before this kind of games weren't a waste of time, for two reasons:
1. Prizes were higher in Bitcoins, as I remember that "Monster's", for killing a monster the prize was 1 mBTC (more or less, depending on the monster level)!
2. Transactions were lower, like under 1000 sats!

So it was easy to collect/earn BTC and move it around, even if it was just a few dollars! Now you can't move a dollar with a 2-3 dollars transaction fee! And to earn that dollar takes a lot of time!

I thought that some other chains will invade that empty space, chains with lower transaction fees... and after trying some games on different chains, I can say I was disappointed! The games were bad, prizes low... to not mention many of them were a complete scam! So I just lost interest... and it's not like I wouldn't like to play some nice and interesting game, where we can earn some crypto! But for now, I am not seeing anything good around, that suits my taste!

@OP, maybe this list would be relevant https://bitcoinregs.org/earn-bitcoin-playing-games/

I checked the link and mostly they are casinos. Need to deposit money to start with. Others are faucets (freebitco.in) that is not profitable even before.

Scrolling down, I've checked those flash games below the page to check some details but most links are dead and not working anymore.

Freebitco.in was never profitable because faucets were never about making profits. That's not how faucets work.

To be able to profit from faucets you need the crypto you are collecting to rise x10 against the dollar. There is no other way to make it worthwhile.

If you are collecting satoshis from freebitco.in you better believe that bitcoin will hit $300k later on. Otherwise you are wasting you time.

I also had time to find out about games like this and it turns out, there are many games out there that pay using altcoins as well and not only bitcoin. But unfortunately, I don't think there is anything better like in the past, in the past even though the amount I got was only a count of satoshi but in fact it was very fun, but for now I don't feel as fun as I used to play a game that is basically a faucet. So yeah, for now I'm not really interested, but if you really look for it I'm sure you can find it in the app/play store too.

Back then there was an app that lets you play and earn, it's like a mini game that's similar to flappy bird but you're competing against other players and the top winners earn a bunch of satoshis. I remember they had a bunch of games and also allow you to gamble by joining paid contests and the rewards are significantly higher. Basically they started off as a faucet then they later on added the gambling function after the app became popular enough. Another example is cashclamber, they had a contest as well where the user with the most consecutive wins takes the pot.

I doubt if they are still going to use Bitcoin even when there is a lightning network, some of the gaming sites I've seen on DAPP are using their own token, it's profitable for them and it's a way to promote their gaming sites in the market, some of them are on Binance chain because of the cheap transaction and there are ready markets on Decentralized exchanges.

Most games developer would rather develop their own tokens than pay with Bitcoin since there are so many investors who are trooping into the cryto industry generating newer coins and tokens by the day so most of the games would like to give awards in their own respective tokens other than Bitcoin to help promote their projects

The only faucet still worth doing to me is Freebitco.in but you probably know that. I actually commute almost daily, so I do a couple of runs or so on the faucet daily, occasionally something big comes out of it.

But there are definitely still casino games that pay out in Bitcoin -- you'd have to be of a certain level (wagering usually gets you there). Bitvest, for example, still has those quests, same as Stake I believe, and then there are challenges at Crypto.games... basically just daily games you play, either for free or with real crypto, and the rewards are paid out, usually to a high +EV.

I think these are the games that are popular right now for cryptocurrency traders and enthusiasts. But I don't think many of us can handle several games running on their computers at the same time. That is why I need a gaming computer so that I can deal with my these games and staking coins and many other things that we can do in crypto.

Also, I don't think there would be any games that pays in satoshis anymore. Maybe in 2016 when Bitcoin is still very low price. I think most of these games no longer exist or switched to another form of crypto that they use to pay. Anyway this is still the start and I think many more will be created as time passes.

I think all these games went bankrupt. As far as I know only normal faucets where you need to complete a captcha and watch some ads in order to claim some dust of bitcoin or altcoins remain. Actually they don't pay directly to micro wallets anymore as in the old good days. Now they pay you in plain coins inside their own platforms and you have to create one account on each faucet (a big waste of time) to accumulate these coins which have a mutable ratio when exchanging into a real crypto currency. However the ratio is absurdly low and it takes ages to reach minimum cashout amount.

Google adsense killed the industry you mentioned by not allowing their ads to show on these sites and now I think we will have to wait until blockchain games become more popular to see some benefit in play to earn games again.

I know a couple of games that do not pay Bitcoin, but that you can take it to Bitcoin, the first one that I always recommend is TIBIA, it is a game that you can get TIBIA coins by playing and collecting some items that are valuable, you can make exchanges with Resellers that are authorized , in all countries there are, and it really is a very entertaining game but you earn more money when you go premium, to become premium for 1 month you only pay 10USD, the other interesting game is Axie Infinity and there you can make the direct exchange to BTC in any Exchange, but it requires a strong investment, approximately 800USD you can see the good profitability starting.

OP is looking for free to play which you can earn some satoshis and im much aware with those.

I'm honestly aware that OP is looking for Free to Play games but I redirect him right away at those games I have mentioned as maybe that's where it will end up the discussion.

Even we found games that pay in Bitcoin, I doubt it's worth spending time so to make OP's time worth it, I suggest the games where risking time might be worth it. And I also put to do DYOR at those games so after all, OP will surely know later on that it needs some capital to start with.

Much aware with these games since ive been engaging in 4 of them but we know that this is involving some investment and you wont earn if you wont be putting up on buying up some tools, teams or related to that.

Now that you’ve mentioned it, I did notice yhat faucets are no longer a thing, and if they’re still existing, they’re no longer paying in BTC. I remember that minesweeper-like game (SatoshiMines) back in the day when it’s still a legitimate thing. I used to spend a decent amount on it just to try and get one jackpot but to no avail. It was a good game before it shifted its focus on being a full-blown casino, and with it comes the interest of players that used to love the previous model.

Are there any good games today that pay Bitcoin (satoshis)? If you happen to know of any, please let me know. Thanks in advance. Smiley

Yes, the rise of these governance tokens is making Bitcoin less used. There are also several tokens taking part in that pie like the TRON and EOS that we now see are meant for dapps that are mostly games that pay their own cryptocurrency. The transaction fee is probably the biggest reason why they shift even with Lightning Network today, those gamers will not turn back.

As an user mentioned the bitcoin paying games are not that available. Recently found about Bitcoin blasts posted by an user along with few other games that provide payout in BTC. Myself checked with those games and never tried it. It looks like the users gets paid in terms of Bling, which is the native token of that platform.

I'd suspect that most games would prefer to either implement their own token system or use a alternative cryptocurrency to Bitcoin, simply because Bitcoin isn't really great for microtransactions, which is usually the amount that is commonly sent in these types of games.

Cryptokitties comes to mind, which I believe uses ETH. I haven't personally played so can't comment on the authenticity of it, but I heard its quite popular. Point being, it might be difficult to find a Bitcoin paying game, and the alternative might be to earn in alternative cryptocurrencies, and then exchange it for Bitcoin later.
