You need an half-decent CPU like the FX-6100 or a Core i5 if you buy an Intel board, but of course you can play games on the card connected to the monitor and leave the rest mining.

You need to [D]isable that card on miner software and run the miner on realtime priority. If you need to, and how you can make the cards invisible to the game, that I have no clue.

So basically I could use it for games but it would only use 2 video cards? As long as it isn't a big hassle to get it up and mining after playing a few games I wouldn't worry about losing an hour of mining here and there .

yes you can but why waste time playing video games when you could have it working to make money.  Is your guilty pleasures worth costing you income?

if i buy a rig with 6 video cards can i play video games on it ? I know it would need a hard drive or whatnot ?
