Couldn't see anything from that tiny Thumbnail pic.
By the way, does anyone know how to embed pictures properly on each post ? I tried imgur which is used EVERYWHERE , and Bitcoin Forum tells me it can't accept or display imgur links. Very frustrating !

Of the several categories that you want to see, of course it belongs to the project, for example "revenue", they must first publish the data they have before we really know. But, to see some important data on a DApp, I suggest you to use DappRadar, they can give you data about Unique Active Wallet (UAW), transactions, volume with 24 hours, 1 week and even the last 1 month time frame.

Even after omitting 'revenue', DappRadar appears unreliable to me, I check stats of dcity game which is one of most active games of hive blockchain and this is what it shows.

I think the radar dapp doesn't really provide an accurate data reference, but it can be used to do research like that.
indeed for more details we have to research it ourselves but radar can make it easier for us to see this.

In addition to the previously mentioned coingecko or coinmarketcap, I use the website: https://playtoearn.net/blockchaingames
There is a lot of information about given projects and some statistics. You can also find information about airdrops.

So can anybody explain how Gods Unchained, ranked outside of the top 500 by CoinGecko has this much volume and transactions

https://imgur.com/9ZMn5SC

while Illuvium, a AAA game ranked near the top 100 has near zero transactions ?

https://imgur.com/pxWIFbY

CG was ranked it based on the marketcap that owned by the project and it's not based on the activity that owned by the project. That means if taking the activity in the projects actually useless. It has not become one of metric to determine the rank of project.

The illuvium game has not yet lived. you shall not always focus in the activity of platform to be used as reliable matrict to determine the rank of project because CK or CMC didn't use it.

The rank based on the marketcap that owned by the project. that's why you have seen ILV ranked in top 100 while Gods unchained was outside from top 500

I don't use Coingecko as a reference in looking at the performance of a coin/token, for me, Coinmarketcap is better than Coingecko for example in terms of price updates or rankings. On Coingecko it's noted that $GODS is in 516th place, but if you look at Coinmarketcap, $GODS is currently ranked 462nd.

while Illuvium, a AAA game ranked near the top 100 has near zero transactions ?

Those are in-dapp stats, not overall transaction performance, of course, if the data collected by Dappradar is not just in-dapp data, this token will have very high transaction performance considering the $ILV token is listed on several top-tier exchanges like Binance, Coinbase and also KuCoin.

well, I gotta say I am now a bit confused looking at some of this data.
I am invested heavily into Illuvium, thinking it's the number 1 gaming project in Crypto, and here the data
for volume and transactions during this bear market is almost flat ! What's more, Illuvium is ranked outside of the top 1000 for games way
below TownStar and Axie Infinity ( a game I thought was already dead ) Axie Infinity by the way is very near the top 10.
Going by CoinGecko Stats ( rankings ) which is what I normally use for when I research a project, TownStar is the one ranked outside of the
top 1000, while Illuvium is near the top 100 ( cryptos , not games ) So what gives ? Am I reading this all wrong ?

I think that dapp radar is good enough to get gaming stats and data but to be honest if dappradar doesn't have good accuracy in determining the real time data that owned by those platforms. i still prefer to take crypto rank rather than dapps radar.

You can try to check it out directly by yourself. Cryptorank is far reliable for that,.

I remember that Illuvium before is my checklist about the list of blockchain games, that's the time when Axie Infinity is on peak or popular where people can make a lot of money on this blockchain player-2-earn game.
I believe this Illuvium will solve a lot of problems that happened in a lot of blockchain games like governance, tokenomics, or game mechanics.

How do you check Gaming Statistics on a crypto gaming project?

Mostly interested in:
Average monthly users
Yearly / Monthly revenue
weekly / monthly growth
rate of adoption

Yes of course one have to take a look these areas to know how the gaming industry stand and why you need to choose them base on the satisfaction received from their data researched upon, it's also very important to consider all these qualities with their reputation before choosing any, though it is believed that some of them can engage a trust pilot review paid services to be used while some have a genuine ratings on their data, these can give more direction to wether to use any one or not base on the level of satisfaction received from their data we research.

I've tried to search a bit with one of the projects you've mentioned but sadly, I haven't found the stats that you're interested in. It seems that it will depend on the devs if they will be vocal about it and will show the data to the public.

I use CoinGecko all the time and find it useful for many metrics, but I never knew it listed those stats I mentioned before.
There are some more specialized pages that have a ton of stats ( such as DeFi Llama and Statista ) it's just hard to know exactly which ones for crypto gaming.
So let's pick one project for example, Bloktopia. Where exactly in CoinGecko do you find the Stats I requested for this ?

https://imgur.com/NUKzyJZ

None of those tabs circled have them
I think they'll show it if you try to ask them if they're open about it. But if there's no table that shows it publicly then it's only for them and that's a private matter that they won't disclose unless they go on hype again and boast their stats.

I remember seeing these figures and more for Axie Infinity when Axie was the number 1 P2E game in the crypto space, so now that we are at the bottom
I need this info to see if I could invest in the newer gaming projects such as:
~
Most (if not all) of the stats you need/want are actually generated/summarized by the community themselves via (afaik) API's released by the devs or something similar to that. This should be the case for monthly users or stuff related to that. For the game's specific coin usage, adoption, growth, etc., I believe sites where the coin of the game is registered such as Coingecko or coinmarketcap should be enough as sources. Just, gotta stretch some of that muscle to summarize it all. If they were relatively new though then their coin might not even be registered at all, so you just have to wait for those instances.

If you're THAT lazy, then hire someone who knows how to use the chatgpt plugins so the AI itself can access live public data, and return to you a summarized version of it.
