Rumours eventually comes our doorstep without any clue since they don't need evidence. In crypto everything you require to state is scam and that is proof.
This is the point. Remember when binance has sued the blockcrypto for spreading the fake news and then the blockcrypto never try to create controversial news again or spread the fake rumour about any exchange sites.

People who have been doing FUD will always try to HIT and RUN mode. They need to destroy the reputation of such exchange site.
I guess people aware of this and this thing is also happening in the kucoin telegram group too.
The exchange is shady, they organized KYC airdrop worth 10$ and they did not distribute it, they also did not distributed the another airdrop nor they explained this police raid I have move mine funds to Binance in case things go south.

you should post if what happen on the post or to the video so that people here will have an idea and there are people that dont click external links  .

i should add in that not all you saw on the twitter website are legit because the platform was hacked before and hackers might still have a controlled to some accounts  . so i read other comments and they say its related to fud ? a fudster is really confident on what he was doing so that he can be more believable .

Appears as FUD is surrounding, we should take necessary caution otherwise we may eventually being manipulated. Rumours eventually comes our doorstep without any clue since they don't need evidence. In crypto everything you require to state is scam and that is proof.

I don't believe when reported on twitter by a ran down guy I prefer to believe when it's covered by a top media, because they have a reputation to protect and they will first verify the report before publishing it, unlike on twitter where they will just delete the tweet and move to another FUD.

I have used this exchange before and I didn't face any problem in making a withdraw but before you make a withdraw you need to make a KYC after you KYC is approved everything will be smooth
That means if that's just a rumour. Sometimes when there's a bad thing happening with another exchange site and then there will always be FUD.

KYC is mandatory before someone will able to use the gate.io service.
Im still using it right now and nothing happen even after this rumour appearing and i never heard anyone who have discussed about this again.

This was FUD for gate.

Hello
I saw some disturbing videos about Gate.io on twitter but I can not tell if they are fake or now.
Video: https://twitter.com/AliceolaCrypto/status/1304225100766404608

This looks very strange for me the person who made this tweet seems to be very confident.

I made some simple search and it do shows about on that Police raid.It do talks about that KIMCHI token listing which had continously dumped and people do took all the blame on Gate? Pathetic.
https://coingeek.com/police-raid-gate-io-over-defi-listing/

I agree on what Gate.io do tell about this which they arent the ones who do drive out the market unless if they had lots of KIMCHI then who knows but you cant point out fingers on here.
And the result? they do survive that police raid.

I think Gate is one of the reputable exchanges we have today because of their mode of operation and their strive for more advancement. Also, this can also be fud but yet we can't rule out the fact that anything can happen. In addition, owing to the many security breaches which has rocked many exchanges, even top exchanges both past and present, I think it is better trading and then taking funds out of the exchange to private wallets so as to be on the safer side. In as much as I want to believe this could be fud, but I wouldn't want to lose my guard by trusting any exchange, mostly centralized exchanges.

In things like this, I believe that first-hand experience would be an excellent opportunity to see if it is legit or not, but knowing that the risk is there and might get your capital if you continue to register there. It’s up to the person to continue or not but let’s just wait for more evidence if it’s true. What I am currently interested in gate.io is about their response. Hopefully, they would come out with a statement or something with their accusations.

There are several threads about gate.io but it seems there issue havent been clearly addressed but i do still hesitate on using up this platform.

There are lots of alternatives which is far way more better than on this one.

I remember when there was a news about the binance news like this https://cointelegraph.com/news/binance-denies-police-raids-very-existence-of-shanghai-offices

This could be true but that doesn't mean if that will be shutdown or it can be another FUD too. Remember what happened with binance and everything is still going very smooth even so many haters were also doing FUD in the past.

I'm withdrawing my money from gate to test it and everything is normal.
I'm interested in this exchange because they have OCO orders, and It would be sad ith they make scam exit with money.
I don't think if that will happen as this exchange site is still alive. I have some funds on gate.io too. I will not take any FUD that comes to an exchange site.

I have learned a lot from the binance's case in the past. I have also actively participated in the gate IEO.

It's hard to judge with two seconds video but according to brazil verwsion of investing.com reported that something really happened https://br.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news/gateio-e-supostamente-invadida-pela-policia-apos-listar-token-defi-782524
but we should wait for their official announcement.
They are one of the best and trusted exchange site till now but no one knowns what is happening behind scene.

I have always seen gate.io as one of the strongest exchange in crypto, they always deliver when it comes to ieo meaning most of the ieo conducted in their exchange always end with a success, so it will be very disappointing to find this news to be true, it will just mean crypto is full of scam, even the ones you hold with high esteem will end up disappointing you, let's just assume this is another fud and not true.

Just rumors I suppose. I cannot find any article from Cointelegraph, Coindesk and other crypto news sites about this alleged raid. There seems to be enough evidence so I don't know if there's a news blackout. If this happened to be other exchanges, I think we should have read more follow up reports by now.
