Gate.io have active complaints on reddit, and I did not find a complaint that talked about problems with withdrawal. https://www.reddit.com/r/GateioExchange/ However, Gate.io may restrict or block access to its services in some countries, so always be sure to check your country in the special list https://www.gate.io/user-agreement

So perhaps people are really buying BCN on gate.io and are able to withdraw from gate.io to their BCN wallets?

This one seems to have the highest volume always > https://www.gate.io/trade/BCN_USDT

If you put in an order on tradeogre, you can sometimes pick up BCN at 1/10th of the price that it sells for on gate.io

wasn't Bytecoin have network problems

https://bytecoin.org/blog/the-official-review-on-the-network-issues-from-the-bytecoin-team

I remember people complaining about the official wallet being broken because they are not receiving any BCN and also no transactions are being registered.

I don't know if this has been fixed but I kinda remember that the devs wasn't capable of fixing it and just abandoned the project.

The devs returned a couple of years ago, and fixed things so that things worked again.  But the main desktop PC wallet should be tested by someone here who is advanced before trying to set it up. The advanced person could leave tips here of how to set it up so that all people can learn. It seems that governments hate this coin because it is so private, therefore, computers have installed something to keep that desktop wallet from being easily set up. Their web wallet works, and that was one of the things the devs fixed some time ago.  There is another lower profile wallet that you can access on Telegram, but make sure you are getting the link from an official person there so you get the correct link.  Again, this coin is so private that it seems there is war going on to keep people from having it. But the web wallet and the one that is ultra private both work the last time I checked which was not long ago.

I own only a little amount of this crypto, but may own more later after I watch it some more.

I couldn't find a status page to see the current state of deposits and withdrawals, but I did find this (from September):

https://twitter.com/search?q=gate.io%20Bytecoin&src=typed_query&f=live

It looks like there was some kind of maintenance at some point but I doubt that's still the case since I couldn't find more results about this.

This coin is also not listed on any reputable big exchanges, I'd think twice about using it or investing in it.

I am trying to confirm or disconfirm the statement you see here about a crypto named Bytecoin: "Even if you buy on Gate.io, it is impossible to withdraw them. Most likely, the exchange is simply deceiving people by selling them air." unquote

Can anybody from their experience on gate.io confirm the above statement or disconfirm it?  Does gate.io not allow some cryptos to be withdrawn, like Bytecoin for example,   Thank you.
