I don't think I'd be willing to purchase one outright, but it would probably influence me to purchase 50BTC worth of coffee instead of 20. A well-designed thermos drinking bottle or carafe, though - absolutely I'd consider buying that outright.

I know that those mugs can be easily made on certain websites, and the damn websites only offer them in white, but for what's it's worth, I think the mugs should be brown. Bitbrew seems like a brown color business, to me.

You know what else is brown? Feces. Speaking of feces, that first heart design...... Nevermind

I like the second design, only if it was inverted with black being brown.

On that note, my instincts tell me that this is the kind of thing you should be giving away to your customers, not selling, and that they will end up in Goodwill in the near future.

I'd be interested in one with a Bitcoin design but I'm not interested in one with BitBrew. No offense intended. It's just BitBrew is advertising but BitCoin has significant meaning for me. I'd personally look for some design that's humourous and related to mining.

(oh god, not the bearded man with pick axe, please)

I haven't been able to think of anything nerdy or witty enough, yet, so for now I'll probably go with this:

These will go for 1.75 BTC if there are enough votes for them, let's say 10 or more.

I'll still have to order them, so best case scenario, these will be available the beginning of 2012.

I wont buy a cup with a heart on it. How about one with your "Bitbrew" cursive into a coffee mug?

I am receptive to the idea of a BitBrew coffee mug, but I do not like the design.

Why is there a heart on it?  What is with that font?  Seems uninspired. You can do better.

The underlying feel is all wrong for me, I want to rep Bitcoin with swag that says "technology" not "cozy."

+1.  This is a mug my wife would like if you cross out the Bitcoin.  Smiley

I think it is a good idea but a Bitcoin mug should be one of the following
* funny
* witty
* techy
* nerdy

Think http://xkcd.com/ + coffee. Smiley

Thanks for the constructive criticisms. I'll think of another design or two and post them here.

I'll definitely buy a travel mug once I can start working again to get more money for one.

I'm considering offering BitBrew coffee mugs and would like to get some feedback on what the community would be most interested in. The standard white ceramic mugs are cheaper but, if enough people want them, I'll be happy to offer higher quality travel mugs.

Here's what the standard mugs would look like:

I would probably sell these for about 2 BTC on the BitBrew website. Travel mugs would probably cost about twice as much.

Edit: At the time I wrote this, 1 BTC ~ 3.5 USD
