Maybe I could do a combo auction, 2011 s2 brass + 2013 s3 silver.

Nubbins correct me if im wrong but are you gun shy based on one of your last auctions where you got only a little over 2BTC for your 2011 error coin?  If so I dont think you have to worry. The market right now has been pretty spit on with auctions for cas coins lately.

Forgot about that one!

Nope, just not in any particular rush to sell. Some of you may be surprised to learn that I've only ever purchased two or three coins second-hand; I've mostly just been selling off rolls that I purchased directly from Mike.

Maybe I could do a combo auction, 2011 s2 brass + 2013 s3 silver.

Agreed I hate hidden reserves...when I see them I refuse to bid. I like to roll the dice and start them at face value.

I was saying auction the 2011 S2 not the Silver! I know what you got in it and you will do well  Tongue

OH. Yeah, maybe! I might put a reserve price on it tho  Undecided

Just start at you reserve if you get bids you do if not same result.  Dont think you will get the same amount oof bids with a reserve.  My 2 cents.  Either way im in on it though  Grin

so far all of the 2011 1BTC series-2 i've seen for sale are not graded.

have not seen a 45 o.5 silver for sale/auction for a long time already, i remb the last auction was also listed by you. Great to see them back on sale.

I had an MS64 2011 s2, sold it a few months ago.

The last series-2 silver half auctioned for only 10btc -- I won't auction another. Too great of a chance that interested buyers won't see the auction before it ends. Whoever bid on that auction but didn't win missed their chance to pick one of these up for sub-20.

I've got a sale thread somewhere asking 25btc for it. Given how well I take care of my coins (Blazed can attest to this, I sold him the best brass halfs that anyone's seen), I don't think that's an unfair price. I'd be willing to take a few btc off the price if the purchaser didn't want PGP custody docs.

given that there's only 45 and owned by only a handful, 25btc is plausible.

Not necessarily for sale, just seeing if there's any interest out there.

2011 1BTC series-2: rarest brass coin. 1/10 the mintage of the much more common "error coin" 2011 series-1.

2013 0.5BTC series-2: rarest silver coin. 1/5 the mintage of the next-rarest coin, the 10BTC silver+gold. First roll.

The brass coin is in an MS-65 ANACS slab and the silver coin would fetch MS-66/67+ if it were sent for grading.
