Current highest offer is $1,650.

Any idea when you’ll be ending the blind auction? Do you have a price in mind or a set day that you are going to declare a winner? Just curious as I’d like to see what this sells for when the dust settles. Good luck with your sale and congrats on the success of your taking offers via PM. I’ll be awaiting the outcome and watching. Smiley

Thanks for the interest, but I think I'm going to open it up and run a full public auction. Details to follow.

Don't take too long.  I'm considering selling mine as well but don't want to steal your thunder.

Spokanistan51 also makes a great point about these coins.  The slabs they were shipped in are terrible.  I understand collector's like to hold the coins in their originally shipped packaging, but in this case I think you'd be better off not doing that.  You have to remember that when Casascius was making these types of coins, BTC was much cheaper and there was probably not much thought put into things like packaging.

Working on the details of the auction.

Coming soon Smiley

Some advice for people that have these, it seems the slabs with the rubber insert holders may make these tarnish pretty badly (I had same holder for mine). It may be in your best interest to swap them out for a foam surround or fitted plastic.

What are you looking to get for it? Ungraded?  Tongue I'm interested

I'm honestly not sure really. I've checked around the forum and last couple sales I saw went for around $1,200 in BTC. I may put mine up for auction.

Would love to add it to the rest of my bitcoin bowl items but usually this coin is way out of my range - curious to see what offers you get.

Hi all,

I'm interested in selling my 2014 Casascius Bitcoin Bowl coin. It's still in the original slab from Mike in 2014.

2,000 were originally produced but Mike scrapped 1,150 of them (due to quality of the slab which tarnished the coins). This left 850 of the coins in the wild.

I'm interested in selling mine. Looking for BTC only. Pictures below.
