Coindesk just made some good highlights: http://www.coindesk.com/12-answers-gavin-andresen-reddit-ama/

Cool thanks for posting this, it is probably better formatting than the actual Reddit ama (Which was pretty long scroll).  It was cool to see so many questions get asked/answered

cool, thanks for sharing ... I read the coindesk article I don't understand redditese

hah I figure it would be more palatable than the actual reddit page

Exactly. I hate reddit and the way it is formatted. I never use it at all. Can't see why it's so popular.

One thing that catches my attention is the answer on hard fork. According to him it will be early next year so it will be exciting to see what would happen from here

I did think that was pretty interesting, looking at the larger picture this next year should be fun. What I thought was interesting was when he said, "I think everybody should switch to talking in "bits" (millionths of a bitcoin)" - Gavin Andresen

I feel like it might take along time to get everyone to start using "bits" denomination, alot of different wallet developers etc. Their have been numerous discussions on this board about it in the past, logically it makes sense but I cant see something like this happening anytime soon.
