Getting a lawyer with any retainer is a losing case. GAW will crush you with the legal department and all the money they can spend from its victims. There really isnt a point sadly

Lol, their legal department is pretty sorry if there is one at all. Gaw can't even read a simple and clear TOS and not fuck it up. No way Gaw "crushes" anyone at anything, LMFAO.

I am sorry but I really think you are delusional, but if you think you're right go ahead and get a lawyer and sue them.

To be honest, I dont think the class action will go anywhere similar to BFL or mt.gox that would take more then a year.

$15,000 for a fucken retainer? wth... isnt there anyone on this forum a good friend of a lawyer that wouldnt charge that much.

I'm yet to see someone sue them because paycoin didn't stay above $20.  Roll Eyes
Waste of time if you ask me, unless you lost much more than $15000.

I've worked with Lawyers for a long time and a 15G retainer for this type of case is the " I dont want to pursue this losing idea but if you want me to go thru the motions, I'll take your money "  response..

Good luck with your dream you dont have a chance in hell....

Update:

So I have spoken to Charlotte C. Lin, Esq. (Law Office of Charlotte C. Lin) Charlotte is responsible for bring the the lawsuit against KNC miners (http://kncclassaction.com/) As per our conversation they are unable to verify if GAW actually has any funds what so every (which if found very disturbing). At this point in our process we are faced with two options:

Option 1: We as a group raise the $15,000 retainer for the legal and private investigation services

Option 2: We sit it out and wait to see if GAW comes through

We will be using GAWGATE.com as home base of this. I have also set up [email protected] for all inquires I will take all replies to this thread on here and GAWGATE on which direction I should move this. I thank you for your time and look forward to your replies.

So if this class action law suit happens, how long would it take it? another BFL scenario where it takes like 1 year or more?

It seems like a lot of people were also able to buy them at $4 and sell at least at $8. That's still an enormous profit, so I can see why the vitrol is lopsided. Only the true believers (perhaps suckers? Sorry.....) are the ones truly burned. I wouldn't be surprised if at least half the people jumped ship with some sort of profit in their pockets and don't really feel up for complaining.

Shit situation all around though.

I've been reading the forum and looks like not many are willing to disclose their deals with GAW. On one hand there's an angry mob shouting scam and on the other those who took the profits.
Most people are hating them not because they lost money, but because of failed expectations. They thought they'd get paycoins for 4$ a piece and sel it back to GAW for $20. Just like that guy who accused them of scam because he put hashlets on the market for x times the market price and they didn't sell.

So, what's the positive result going to be?   Five bucks a person, and a few million for the lawyer?

I would like to point out that within the last 10 years or so Sprint PCS, some other mobile companies, and Google lost class action law suits. I got five dollars back form Google. My point is to put into perspective what actually happens when a company loses class action lawsuits. You don't get rich. They don't go away. They are not labeled as criminals (scams, frauds, or anything), and in many cases those companies are still popular and thriving. Don't be so quick to jump on the bandwagon. Think about your options and decide what is necessary without anger or fear.
