OK, so the price has gone down a bit over the last week, but, because we have another 5% coins in circulation the market cap has been quite  stable.

Question is, how is this price being maintained. On the plus side you've got some followers believing in the buyback but no real new news for 2 days. On the down side you've got negative feedback on every forum going including hashtalk. It doesn't make sense to me. I see the odd dump of coins now and again but this is pennies to what Josh must have taken out. Is it just some favoured friends left to pick over the spoils?

Seriously at a loss to explain the current behaviour. Most of us here I guess expected a crash, and I should think the devout expected a slow rise, but, we are stuck here for a week with no progress either way.

What is going on?

Serious question, please no cartoons or insults etc.

Lots of the coins being created now (and most of the coins in general) are being created out of thin air, so the market cap is pretty irrelevant. There is so little volume and depth on this thing that it's silly to try and read anything into anything. The price is what it is because "traders" and GAW themselves are fucking with it to make it look a lot better than it is. Look at all the charts it crawls up on tiny volume, and then big volume dumps it back down.

What will happen to the market cap if someone sells 10k coins at once?

Sorry for the "cartoon", but that is the best explanation for what is occurring with Paycoin right there.

Good, safe to go to sleep, he's looking into it!

To be fair, he hasn't promised to explain it or solve it. He's not even looking INTO it, but AT it. Set your expectations correctly, please.  Cool

Simple. He and his minions pump it up and then he cashes out some of the coins that he is looking at. Rinse and repeat to zero.

Question: is there a roster of the current dev team somewhere w/ their credentials?  Seems like a pretty basic thing for a company like this to have on their website (e.g., one trying to revolutionize payments).  What experience do these dev-folks have?  What experience do the devs and other professionals have in the highly regulated and long-existing payments industry?

Actually, no.

Why offer up your staff security, especially when dealing with payments. Full disclosure is not always smart or appropriate. I know I wouldn't release all my staff info to a forum of anonymous people. Think about it.

Whichever way you want to spin it, there are many legitimate reasons why opacity works. Security is as good as any,

Bull. People engaged in honest commerce have nothing to fear and everything to gain by being transparent. Criminals have much to fear and everything to lose by being transparent.

Are you kidding? Very, very few companies make a roster of their technical staff public, for all sorts of good reasons that have nothing to do with breaking the law.

I wouldn't want my technical staff poached.

You can't 'poach' folks who voluntarily quit due to unethical business practices Wink

You would think that a poster named "Anita Hanjaab" with a son named "Havan Hanjaab" would be instantly recognized as a lame attempt at sophomoric humor, but the crowd on HT is way tOo SmArT for that: https://hashtalk.org/topic/31542/coins-from-the-test-address-that-were-supposed-to-be-destroyed-are-now-in-circulation/184

It's quite common to post info about the CTO, since they're registered in company registry type of databases, the others I'd only "let out of their cubicle" once they can give an interview and even then i'd think twice about it Wink
