i just got mine and it came in with broken fan for the info guys gawminer offered me 15.dollar send me time lost well that other thread
May be a dumb question... But can't you guys put the unit in another room? I suppose limited space wouldn't allow, but I've always had my miners hosted in a data center so really have no clue how loud they get.
Is it really noticable? I mean I use a fan as "white noise" to sleep all the time.

It's not crazy noisy but you can hear it if its in the same room. Like a hair dryer on a low setting. I actually have mine in a room in a lower part of the house that is cool along with some Furys, Blackwidow (also noisy) and Gridseeds (not so much) and 5 gpu rigs (quite noisy). It has fan noise and gets warm in there anyway. Best bet is to have them in a separate room if you can but if you can't put them in a area away from you and others.

Yes mines a bit noisy too. It would be good to find decent quieter fans.

remove the top of the case, disconnect the fans, use cable ties to attach 1 large house fan to the case pointing directly over the circuits.

Anyone have any tips on making the GAWMiner Falcon and other miners more quiet? I'd like to buy some replacement fans that match the specs but put out less decibels.
I've been looking around for this answer, so I'm hoping that by making my own thread others can find these answers.
