I wouldn't say GDPR provides more security to citizens but an easier access to it. Which was already existing in a lot of EU countries years before GDPR. In reality, people don't care and never ask to access their own data. It's like telling them "I am watching you but the law tells me to make you aware" "Yes I am OK, No problem"

Blockchain means Immutable ledger, and immutable ledger means a record that cannot be changed. However, GDPR is a law that allows individuals to change any personal data if they wish so I created this infographic to simply explain the Blockchain GDPR Paradox

Nice to know . Again this X-rays the importance of blockchain to data protection of users and also giving confirmations to information or data assented to by user. Off course, when you consent to access to your data, blockchain also stores it as consented, not being held against for it. This is certainly an advantage of the use of blockchain technology.
