I want to use gemini.  But i wanted to know if i could add bank account manually... with the two small bank deposits... such as would that be the same as using plaid.

So has anyone verified their bank account with gemini via two small bank deposits?  If so, no issue depositing/withdrawing ACH in the future?

I recently created gemini account and verified just my email address.  I see the next step is add payment to start trading and also upload id to raise limits and allow withdraws.

For adding payment, is automatically link bank account the same as manually link bank account as in getting verified?

I saw first option is bank account recommended and that is fast but then it ask me to input my bank online details which im not comfortable with.  I read online that people do this has to go through plaid... and if you do that, you need to change your credentials/passwords immediately after that?

But with manual link bank account, you just wait for two deposits and verify it but thats 5 days.  Will either of these methods mean i could deposit/withdraw ach with no issue?

I heard some people said with gemini you need to do a wire deposit in order to use it which is not what i want because my bank charges a fee for a wire.

I assume most people here verify their account via plaid and sign in with their online banking information?  Then few people do the manual bank verification where you put your banking and routing number and wait for the two small deposits and then confirm  it?  But does this method mean you do not need to do a wire to verify your account?  And the last option most people use is the wire option since your bank charges you a fee for that?
