You need to be more specific. Go into details as of what is "not working". Are you online? What is your top block? Can you spend from within Armory? What versions of Core and Armory are you running?

Use the wallet restoration feature from within Armory, it will guide you.

I do not have the private key. The backup says the following:

The following two lines backup all addresses ever generated by this wallet (previous
and future). This can be used to recover your wallet if you forget your passphrase or
suffer hardware failure and lose your wallet files.

If you have the private key, you'll get the address. If you don't, you won't be able to re-generate it, that'd be impossible.

If the address is still in your wallet, chose "Backup this wallet" in Armory and after that pick "Export Key lists", only check "Private Key (Plain Base58)" which is what you need and "Omit spaces in key data". You can then copy-paste private keys to recover addresses into other wallets and whatnot.

Hey,
how can I restore an addresse which I had before but did not get the BTC from beforehand?

Thx. Sligtly overchallenged with this topic tbh. I´m new to Amory.

PS. I know my address.
