A few days ago I generated 50.01000000000000 BTC. How is this possible? It now has more than 1000 confirmations.

That is impossible using simple mining rig. I am doubtful if the amount you mined is 50 btc or maybe it is not 50 btc after all or other cryptocurrency or just another amount. It could be 50 mbtc or it could be 50 coins of any altcoins. I do hope you can provide us with a screenshot so we can really tell if the is really 50 bitcoins. But if that is really true then you are very lucky and that 50 bitcoin may not be coming from your mining but rather it maybe coming from somebody else. Or possibly somebody has made an error and sent you that huge amount. Well goodluck and congrats, you dont need to be puzzled anymore if that is really btc try encashing it and enjoy your profit.
Before you sigspam post, look at what you're quoting  - it's a post from 2010 and mining 50btc back then with a PC was easy. Now go away and stop posting for sigspam rewards.

This is some necrofuckingmancer posting of you Susan the newbie chick, those days are being repeated every day, haven't you noticed?

All of these copy coins or better call them tokens are in the play to recreate those early but original and authentic days of Bitcoin, they are

Hoping their $0.02cents tokens to some day reaches as high not as Bitcoin's current prices but if they reach even $50 they'll be happy enough.

But I liked the innocence of miners and their mind set on fees.

I wish those days come back again.

LOL! nostalgia moments..hehe.. They seem to chat ordinarily and there is no such fraudulent intent going on. I just can't imagine if OP still has teh 50 bitcoins on his wallet these days and doesn't even aware of it - nah, if he does, he would have withdraw it already and is living the life on the far paradise island Smiley

http://www.bitcoin.org/wiki/doku.php?id=transaction_fee

This has information on the current fee schedule that the standard client uses.

You are free to charge more or less, but right now since no one is sending more or less it wouldn't matter. Likewise you could modify your client to send a transaction that requires a fee with no fee or less fee, but no one will block it unless they have modified their client.

I wonder is there a way to view transactions that are waiting because they do not have the associated fee? I realize there are probably none, but eventually that data would be useful for determining a custom fee schedule.

0.01 for doing a transaction at your PC I would imagine, came from someone else I think.
