Hi, I've been away from Bitcoin for a couple of years now, working overseas and getting on with life.... until just a few weeks ago.... Lo and behold, I've just found out that a strange thing called a Fork has happened. Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold now exist.

Reading a little about these forks, I realised that I have been generously gifted the same amount in these two new crypto currencies as I have in my dormant Bitcoin account, which is nice! This has made me think though - am I missing something? That is, apart from these Bitcoin Cash and Gold, have there been any other forks that I should be aware of, in which they have also given me more money!!?
There is nothing generous in that.Don't worry. There are plenty of forks yet to come.Bitcoin diamond has come and bitcoin silver is to come soon. But nowadays, people are losing interests in such air drops. They find most of them to be scam. They are just done for benefits of some miners.Every thing would not give huge profits as BCH.

If you have been away that long then surely you missed a bunch because this industry moves the fastest of any industry I have ever seen. Also to answer your question yes there are more forks incoming with one concluding last week. That one was called Bitcoin Diamond and they have a weird 210 million supply thing going on (idk why). A list of the forks I know about currently incoming in either December or next year include and I am not joking you with any of this

Bitcoin Silver
Bitcoin Platium
Super Bitcoin
Bitcoin Uranium
Bitcoin Cash Plus

What a 2018 it will be.... Cheesy Wink

There is so many Bitcoin alternatives over there and also Ethereum alternative. God knows if they will ever catch up with the public or if they will never be picked up. I think in 10 years we will have a surprise. Smiley
The public is never going to adopt hundreds of coins, we are having trouble for people to accept bitcoin, do you think the general public is going to use tens of coins? no they are going to use bitcoin and at most some two other coins that are niche coins for something in which bitcoin is not the best choice.

The only thing that i can suggest you, is just do not export your private key if you dont want to get your funds lost.

A lot of people lost huge amounts of money because they were greedy, and they wanted to claim their bitcoin goldies using a pishing wallet.

And this wallet was published on the official webpage of Bitcoin Gold, a lot of people felt in that trap.

I dont know why a lot of people are still exporting their private keys, the same happens with Bitcore, Bitcoin Red, and bitcoin Blue.

When all this thing about those scammy forks is going to end?

Probably bitcoin cash was the only legit fork, the other ones, were just crap.

I agree with this, people were going crazy about icos and now that it seems that is drying up it seems we are going to get a lot of bitcoin forks, do not fall in the trap of following each one of them they are a waste of time, even if I do not like bitcoin cash, it is the only one that has some hope of surviving for the long term.

You did not miss anything. That is all the fork that happened and it is an airdrop also.
Segwit2x have been cancelled so you shouldve got three.
Sadly, you should know more about those coins before doing anything that you will regret.
Just warning you though.
You have also profited from bitcoin so let it stay that way.

First thing to do mate, send your Bitcoin to another address, search and find any new coin's wallet, install them all on a remote server and import your

Empty Bitcoin address on them all, go to yoshit exchange and dump them all . people are really generous. for new forks of Bitcoin, you can get

Them if you have any Btc.
