I don't like STEEM at all so I'd never mine it any where mate, but still I need to read more opinions about them

Before I invest any of my money.

Don't do it. By "investing" money in this service, you incentivize them to continue operating their nasty practices of making people end up in negative numbers. I understand that people want to put their coins to work, but cloud mining isn't the way, and especially not when it comes to genesis mining. Chances of you reaching the point of breaking even are lower than 1% -- it's a pure waste of time, where you slowly get paid back your money till they run or trash your contracts/shares....

There is the other guy complaining genesis mining don't give him the correct payout in facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/GenesisMining/videos/vb.622023254530515/1463664343699731/?type=2&theater¬if_t=video_reply¬if_id=1496542912284675

The trick is they don't do this to all of their costumers, but randomly pick someone. Who know if you will be the one selected by them not to give all payouts you are supposed to get. Once you find out you don't get  the correct payouts and complain to them, the only answer you get is be patient for the first few times. And later they totally ignore your email and complain. That is exactly my experience.

If you have a thousand dollors, why not just get a miner and do mining yourself. Or just directly buy coins. Either way  is way much better and more secure than investing in genesis mining which have tuns of negative reviews on internet. It is just my opinion, I have tried genesis mining once and I will never buy any contract with them. I prefer to take a  risk to order the new 10.8g dash miner which is what I have done than to take the risk in buying contract in genesis mining.

No, Genesis Mining is not scam but you need to wait forever to get your investment back and once again it doesn't Genesis Mining is scam.

i havent gotten any payments nor does it have a minimum withdraw amount. Has anyone had any success Huh Huh Huh
Invest on cloud mining needs patience because it takes a month even a year to pass the ROI (depend with the difficulty).

I started mining STEEM on Genesis Mining i bought 5 MHS just wondering if anyone else have tried to mine STEEM on there. i havent gotten any payments nor does it have a minimum withdraw amount. Has anyone had any success Huh Huh Huh

Did you pay by credit-card by any chance? They do not pay out till after 30 days in case of chargebacks and so forth. Correct me if im wrong but i think it was no payouts for 6 days if you paid your contract with BTC.

I paid genesis mining by CC 2 and half months ago. The first 30 days passed 1 and half month ago. That means I am supposed to get the payouts of first 30 days one and half months ago. But they still haven't sent me the payout of the first 30 days. And they totally ignore my emails now.
So, at this point, they are absolutely scammers.

It doesn't matter whether you're mining Bitcoin, Steem, Ethereum or DASH.  No one gets ROI on Genesis Mining.  No one can do it.  And now that the price has gone up, people have started deluding themselves into thinking that it's possible.

After the price has gone up dramatically for basically every single alt and for Bitcoin as well, there's now going to be a quick rise in difficulty to match that over the coming couple of months.

You'll find that your payouts get lower and lower and lower as the difficulty of Steem goes up and the price goes down.  Slowly but surely you lose all hope of achieving ROI.  After the two years of your contract are up, Genesis Mining have your miners for as long as they want to use it.

It's like a "legitimate" way to steal people's money.

This. If you want to make passive income with your BTC then its better to do casino investments. I havent started investing in one myself but I have seen some people vouch for it as a good way to earn extra BTCs. There are numerous threads in the gambling subforum that track their own investments.

I see that casino investments in not that profiable since it's a gambling form of games that's having a platform of winning an amount of money or bitcoin. Eventhough you can earn profit from playing but still lossing a lot is always prone, just the same as cloud and steem mining; there is  mo such assurance of profitable returns of your holdings invested. Most of the reasons why this is scamming to impressions of everybody who hears and analyzed the scenario of investments offered, you cannot see a hardware mining still a suatainable aource nowadays; but mostly were scams and ponzi's.

You dont get it. The house always has the edge in all the games so it will always be profitable in the long run. If I have some to spare, I would put my BTC in casino investments than in cloudmining contracts which are mostly scams anyway.

How many cloudmining operations closed down as opposed to BTC casinos? I think the rate of cloudmining sites going bankrupt is larger.

My opinion is there is no legit mining cloud company out there. but there  might be non scam company but at the same time they are not legit I know it is confusing

but it is true . i mean by not legit ( they will not scam you direct but you will prob not see profit from them ever or if you was super lucky you might see fraction of profit)

They take your money to pay their electricity and maintenance charges and pay back nothing. I think that is more than sufficient to call as scam. If someone is investing money then they should get ROI greater than what they had invested. That is real business and it makes healthy relationship with customer as well. Mining is big industry. Don't really understand what makes them so shity. May be money.

Not only genesis, most of the cloud mining schemes are end up as a ponzi schemes only. I do not think you will receive the payments from them. If you do the mining work, you need to choose the hardware or solar mining. Cloud was not successive one as of now.
even they have been around for a long time but there's a lots of concerned regarding to this cloud mining site you should think twice before using their service i guess it will take some time before you can withdraw your investment and keep monitoring the site so you would be sure that they still live online.

When I see a topic which says can I trust this mining site or that mining site then I laugh out loud. Because that's not gonna happen and all the mining sites are amazing lier about the profits and returns and shares. It's better you do it yourself if you really wish to do something like this. Or else don't even try it of you not able to tolerate the mining huddle. It is not very easy and can get you crazy with the time. You have to keep lots of patience for this stuff. Better not to go for mining style; you can always hard earn it or store your btc.

Genesis mining is known as scam. They claim they are legal but however it's almost impossible to get ROI with them, also they offer lifetime contract which directly means scam because why the hell will someone offer you lifetime money making machine? If there would be selling hash, than still ok but stay away from them. Seems you risked and invest, only wish you luck, more probably your money is lost.

They are not scam per se but indeed they are a dodgy company. They are much more legit than other cloud mining operations that are obviously ponzi schemes. At least they show footage of their mining rigs whether they are real or not.

I started mining STEEM on Genesis Mining i bought 5 MHS just wondering if anyone else have tried to mine STEEM on there. i havent gotten any payments nor does it have a minimum withdraw amount. Has anyone had any success Huh Huh Huh

I've used Steemit for a while, all i can say that the PoW payouts aren't great after the early adopters stage. Can you even mine with PoW anymore on Steem? I haven't been following the project since last year.

If you want steem, write up good content, you'll get some excellent rewards.

Is this "STEEM" thing a new feature there? Because they are always creating new features to get people's money as the cloud mining scheme is already well known here and most people won't fall on this trap to receive less BTCs than they invested. I don't know anyone who tried this STEEM thing, but it's better to stay away from Genesis Mining as was alredy said hundreds of times.

Just be careful, genesis mining may not give you the correct payout.
I started a contract with them more than 2 months ago. I only got one month payouts from them. I contacted them several times and their answers were always "be patient and they will fix it soon". And now they totally ignore my email.
I saw the other guy complained the same problem in facebook in the account of genesis mining. You can check it out.

I rather mine STEEM on my own than mine them with cloudmining. It takes a long time to get back your roll of investment. So i rather mine them with mining rig. Cloudmining is not as stable as you think. A lot of cloudmining just ran away together with investors money and never look back. The saddest part of it is no scammer ever caught.
