I think you are right,but I just feel like I have to complete a full gentoo installation lol

I used to get that feeling too, just the accomplishment, But seriously I think arch is more user friendly.

Agree, it is far more easy to use than gentoo in every way possible.

IMO Arch,

More stable, More Support.

its barebones but not like build it yourself gentoo.

There is the Arch User Repository AUR with packages on like yum or apt

package manager is called pacman (always nice to use Smiley) lol

Arch rules over all IMO ... oh and it has a great beginners guide!

Ive been messing around with arch for a good time,and I like it alot.For somebody trying to have their computer as optimize as possible,would there be a noticeable difference between gentoo and arch?
