Its pretty well known that the german government monitors the media as part of its anti-facist efforts. Its the same reason a lot of organisations are classed as terrorist becuase they promote facism and suchlike, and why some games and films are more readily banned than in other countries.

Isn't that kinda fascist in itself if it ends up getting a bit extreme?

It actually is right now. The "anti fascists" mostly employ fascistic tactics nowadays going as far as physically injuring people that openly express a right-wing or conservative thought.

As a german: this case has nothing to do with any politic right or left-wing questions. The Guy on whos computer this trojan was found was an anaobolic drug dealer. Ordinary Crime. The only political question here is that our constitution does not allow these mightfull trojans on ordinary crime cases. Used at right-wing TERROR cases, this would be discussed here very diffrent.
