Most probably they probably ship from US. I see this shop is concentrated on USD-paying customers, so I think they import they stuff from EU first. Wait, they accept EUR as well.
Maybe it's a cost of insurance for drivers that would have accidents due to trying to use correct side of the road in the UK.

So at that insurance they must completely destroy the entire shipment 85 times to make a return!

at 17.34BTC to ship to the UK that's a small fortune!
Skerit told me he will look are there any cheaper delivery methods. Postage costing more than beer is bad! Tongue

As you may or may not know, Belgian Flavours sells Belgian beers, candy and chocolate.

We currently have a promotion running for a free Rodenbach or Duvel beer.
Just add either one to your cart and enter the FREERODENBACH or FREEDUVEL coupon when you check out.

You can now order these on-line at www.belgianflavours.com

Should you miss anything in our catalog (some kind of Belgian beer or candy you can't seem to find) don't hesitate to contact us.

We started accepting payments via Bitcoin a few weeks back.
We've had a handful of bitcoin orders since then, and they've always run very smoothly. I much prefer it to paypal.

Feedback, questions, ... are always welcome.
