Where are your servers housed?

How many clients per server?

Hi there,
For the time being, as the service is relatively new, we only have one server. This is down to our small customer base. However as we continue to start our VPS Services we will deploy servers that we have on standby. The location of the server is in the United States.

Thanks

Thanks for your honest answer. how many clients will you stick on a server before investing in another. There's nothing like putting dozens (or hundreds in some cases) of clients on a server to kill performance levels.

In terms of how many we will place on our server, it depends. We aim to keep it small as we completely agree that putting too many people on one server is certainly the way to kill performance levels. Not the right way to go that's for sure.

We have two hosting plans at the moment, one consisting of receiving 5GB Webspace and the other receiving 15GB of webspace. At the moment, the demand seems to be in the smaller 5GB hosting plan so we can fit an ample amount of clients on there, but we have to keep monitoring it as an all-of-a-sudden demand switch means that we have to deploy the appropriate amount of servers to cope with it.

Thanks

You don't even have a policy for how many clients per server? Pass.

Yes we do have policies. We're revising them because we want them to be simple but straight to the point. All we know that is we are not going to cram a load of clients onto one single server. We are working on Plan B's and C's and so on. We just have to take it one step at a time.

Thanks

You can't even answer a simple question. What are your policies? This is your first server right? Its ok, we all have to start somewhere.

We are trying to answer your questions to the best we can. Yes this is our first server we started out on. The policies we had was our Acceptable Use Policy. This is under revision at this time. It was published when we ran this service previously. We do keep track on the amount of usage being utilized by clients.

What datacenter? Is your website hosted in that server?
Also, may I know how much is a dedicated IP?

Thanks Smiley

Hi there,
The location is Dallas. In terms of how much for a dedicated IP do you mean how much we would charge?

Thanks
Yes, I meant how much you would charge for a dedicated IP.

We would normally charge £1.00 + Setup Fee of £0.50. That's it. It's one-off.

Thanks

Hey peeps :-),
It's us, yseHosting from ArbiInnovate Online. This service allows users to order hosting at affordable prices. Even our small plan comes stuffed with extra features. We're about what users want, and over the past couple of months we're starting to realise this. So here's our two hosting plans we have available. After January 15th 2014, we intend to add more plans for any type of budget.

The Essentials Plan
The perfect plan for anyone that would like a small website, whether for personal or corporate reasons. This plan gives you:
- 5GB of Webspace Quota
- Unmetered Bandwidth (Default)
- cPanel/Softaculous Scripts (Loads)
- 5 Accounts for Webmail
- 5 Subdomains
- 1 Addon Domain
- 1 FTP Account

This plan can be ordered on a Monthly/Quarterly basis. If you order monthly, you get a discount on the 3rd month as a thanks. You also have access to Extras at any time if you require them, and is only £1.65 per month, or £4.00 per quarter.

The Here & Now Plan
This plan comes with a lot more web space and double the extras. You get:
- 15GB of glorious webspace instead of 10GB
- Unmetered Bandwidth (Default)
- cPanel/Softaculous Scripts (Loads)
- 20 Accounts for Webmail
- Unlimited Subdomains
- 1 Addon Domain

This plan can be ordered on a Monthly/Quarterly basis. As with the other plan if you order monthly, you get a discount on the 3rd billing month as a thanks. You also have access to Extras at any time if you require them, and is only £2.95 per month, or £7.00 per quarter.

The Windows Server VPS Plan (Custom Order)
We have decided to reinstate the Windows Server VPS Plan. However instead of us saying what you get, you can customise: Hard Drive Space, RAM, IPv4/6 etc, and then you decide a resonable price to pay monthly or quarterly. By the way, this isn't mentioned on our website just yet as we have only reinstated it today (an hour ago to be precise). We will edit this on our website in the next couple of days.

So there you go!
- To order hosting, go to http://host.ysegb.co.uk
- To order a Custom VPS for Windows Server, message us here please.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the users on BitcoinTalk!,
From yseHosting

ps: We're investing in more servers for our hosting! We'll talk about that in a week or two.
