i use blockfolio to keep track of btc price movement, it is very helpful app and easy to use, i normally set the notification menu to a certain price which i hope btc would drop or increase to, and that's it, blockfolio will notify you when your target price has been reached, there are other features of blockfolio that you can find interesting.
there is also delta app almost similar to blockfolio, i have not use it before but i heard it's also very nice app.

Well, I only use Preev for checking Bitcoin's price and converting to Euro, Usd..ect. In my opinion, it is not really important to find some mobiles apps just for getting notifications about the price, and other information. There are a lot of useful websites like, Coinmarketcap..ect, it is too easy and better to use them. And remember you can't get the accurate price of Bitcoin because the value is a bit different from the exchanges.
I think what you're looking for is something slightly more advanced than simple price threshold. Did you see this app for crypto alerts? It supports a specific alert for bitcoin that you are referring to called the "Abnormal Volatility Alert"

I think most of the apps to know bitcoin prices are not reliable because the price is different compare to the exchanges, it means that the delay in updating their prices is inevitable. I think this is just a really bad idea. You will only become paranoid and worry your head off. You can literally sit and watch the live price and bite your nails all the time. I think just leave it. Stop worrying about the price and making everything about USD and use it as the currency it is.

Bitcoin checker is an app that notifies you every 10 minutes(or the interval you set) about bitcoin price movements. I think that inverval is good for anyone since I don't think you want to receive notifications every few seconds when the price modifies unless you are a trader or something like that. There are many different ways to check bitcoincs price but i dont think there's an app who notifies you every price movement. Gladly, we have this wallet/app in the country which you can check the buying and selling price with just one click.
There is a plethora of applications are available in the market with such functionality and some are reliable as well but if you are just following the applications then reconfirming the update is necessary before any deposit or withdraw.
The iPhone does not support a lot of things. So you have to use the Android system's phone. The iPhone is the Windows Phone system. It does not support much for that.

i think it's better to use coinbase app whenever you want to know the price. From my point of view this is the best process.
The OP got so many recommendation tools to get notifications regarding of bitcoin price market, and I hope that he can choose one or more apps to help him to always steady for the market price. Mostly, every trading apps have an alarm to give notifications to the user so they can directly open the apps or check in the website, so they know what is happening in with the site.
There were more and more apps for this and majority prefer blockfolio. Here user gets the access to make their own portfolio and get notified upon the price. When one is getting into cryptocurrency usage rather than going behind apps for getting price notifications it is good to go through the market and know what is happening with the market.

For now i was using cmc for checking the price of my holdings token and i think they released the mobile app so it better for us now,and you are asking for converting euro to USD? Great suggestion is very useful and safe time no need to check every now then the bitcoin price if their have device gives alarm notifications, but the question is how.
i suggest to the local wallet or exchanges through smartphone to develop additional services for their customers by doing this ideas.

i think you may need to download the luno application and set the alerts in there and expect to get the notification in your local currency value to get the equivalent alerts when you want it. the only challenge is that the luno application may not be eligibly having your local currency denomination in the application if they are yet to get to your country.
I recommend using coinbase because it instantly shows what is the current price of bitcoin. There are also cool applications in the smartphone that gives notification to the state of your assets. You can also download coinmarketcap application and you can add all of your favorite assets that you don't want to miss out. These are the apps that I'm using now because it's very reliable and I can see an update about my assets especially bitcoin.

Certainly, there are now many good apps that can be downloaded in Google Playstore offering the same services and even more. I am just actually using the most famous one which is BlockFolio which is the most reliable for me. There is no need for me to receive any notifications as I can just watch the app for any movement of my favorite coins and tokens.

I just searched in my android phone set and found lots of btc tracker in play store which can give you notification in overtime. But be sure that you are downloading apps from play store for android. And for windows i did not seen any kind of btc notification tracker that can notify me.

A portofolio platform like blockfolio provides a notification for your portofolio. But, sometimes the notification is a little bit late and I can't take the best momentum to trade (oh poor my smartphone notification).
There are thousands of apps, websites, even tools and services which can provide you regular updates and alerts of the markets you desire to get. And even if there is not we can still make small programs which can give us quick updates about almost anything. even if it is not related to Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency you can get other updates to for example you can get cricket updates and so on but there are millions of apps which do that.
I think it is enough to use TabTrader and set the alarm to the price we want.

I don't have an app but what's the purpose of notifying yourself whenever the price falls? you are likely to cut loss or panic?
There are so many applications that can help you, you can look for it on google playstore, the keyword signal is bitcoin. Just choose a high rate. I hope this helps
Be careful of searching with those apps because many existing today are also containing malware. If you downloaded the wrong one, you might experience some malfunction or your phone won't work the same as before.
I cannot see why Apps like this is necessary, because Bitcoin is a long-term investment and continuously watching the price will not make a difference in the long run. It drives me crazy to watch the short-term volatility, because large dumps over the short-term creates panic and being a long-term investor, I would not recommend other traders to fall into the same trap. 
Since I started to ignore the short-term volatility and the price daily, I am a lot less stressed over my investment.

I use Blockfolio since then but it couldn't notify you as you want. You have to check it. There are also reliable apps on Appstore so you just have to find one with good reviews. If you want to be sure, you can check prices on Coinmarketcap.
Like someone has just suggested block folio is a good app to stay up to date with bitcoin and altcoin prices and you can set notifications on it. But my issue with it is that most times the prices differs from coin market cap slightly

I never heard of any app that actually notifies you when the price is going up or down. Actually I never looked for applications like those since I always keep an eye on the price of bitcoins. Probably you there are some apps like those out there. Would be weird if you get notified every time the price goes green and red.

Coinmarketcap apps is the best for me because the notifications available for almost all exchanges and we can select which exchange that we want to know.

Go to your play store or use Google to search for bitcoin Price notification app, you get a bip whenever the price changes either positive or negative direction. And this question have been asked many time just take a look on the forum you will fine answer to what you are looking for.
