There are ways to pay for everything with Bitcoin these days. Even bills. I think most people part of this community would be willing to participate in an experience like this
Please, how does one pay for gas, utilities and/or a mortgage/rent with BTC?
And I mean a BTC transaction - not converting BTC to fiat first, then paying.
You wouldn't have too. It is really more of a social networking project then a paying with bitcoin project. The participant would tweet anytime s/he pays for something in bitcoin (I assume with the "hashtag" of brawker) and would need to create various youtube videos to document their experience. And I mean a BTC transaction - not converting BTC to fiat first, then paying.
Brawker is also a company that allows people to pay their bills in bitcoin so people could technically use their service to pay these kinds of bills.
Move in with a friend who will sell you everything you need for bitcoins for a month. 
for now I think not all of our daily needs can be exchanged with bitcoin, because not all of these requirements be sold freely with bitcoin prices, perhaps only a few that can be purchased with bitcoin we have, hopefully, in the future , all the goods of this world sell for bitcoin ...
