No, it's your mom, trying to raise money to pay me off for services. I know this because she begged me to forgive her debt, but i laughed it off.

I knew it would come this... To her, I mean.

Maybe putting $1000 into such a campaign would drive the price down ahead of a big buy? Could be quite profitable.  Huh
I think it was Stalin who argued that when something has happened and you don't know who did it, ask yourself who stands to gain. Other payment systems, speculators, ... ?

I think we all with Twitter accounts should jump on this.  We all know it's bs.  The only possible outcome is it would drop the price (though I doubt in a million years random Tweets regarding malware in Bitcoin is going to screw the price up).  If price drops, great for everyone, buy up.  If it doesn't drop, no harm, no foul, we all know the tech is good, I don't worry about Tweeting their bs to invest back in Bitcoin.

Sponsoredtweets is a reliable site, so I expect payment to be good.  Who is down?   I think this should be doen en mass, people on the forums here should start Twitter accounts just to have fun with this campaign.   Too many Bitcoiners have sticks up their asses, this should be a good time for all Smiley

Seeing BitcoinPorn leading this, I am pretty sure coinhunter would like to be a co-sponsor - unfortunately he pays with shitcoins  Wink

It's technically accurate (there are bitcoin mining viruses in the wild and thats why all the AV programs default to blocking bitcoin now) so it's hardly discrediting.

Apparently, somebody is running an advertising campaign against Bitcoin:

http://twitter.com/#!/GDIIncomeTeam/statuses/110990752603049985

Not sure if that link will stay, but it says : "Free Cash to Tweet Bitcoin virtual money malware spreading via Twitter Technology GMA"

Unfortunately they use Paypal to pay advertisers, which is not anonymous;
is it possible to find out who is behind that campaign ?

It's the Free Masons. Ask bitrebel for more info Wink

Just work through the FBI like the rest of us. They offer the choice of a real paycheck or direct deposit, none of that Paypal BS.

easy, be a bitcoin discreditor and get paid, then hand over his paypal info to the bitcoin internet investigators.

I do not have a tweeter account, and I close my paypal account a long time ago.
I was hoping that someone could perhaps do it for me  Grin

oh wait, it seems like they don't pay you directly so it might be harder to track them.
