This is not a throw away account it just happens to be my first post. I have been meaning to register here as the sub reddit gets more face palm inducing every day. I posted about this scam on an Australian forum and was told I should post it here. I hope the mods can move it and me out of newbies because I think as many people as possible should be aware of it.
The short version is that a new Australian Bitcoin exchange called 21st Century is about to be launched by a know scammer and slimeball Jamie McIntyre. He is already selling overpriced pre-orders, e books and "training courses" and appearing in main stream media talking like a representative of the bitcoin community! So please avoid it and if you hear other people mention it warn them against it.
