The easiest solution to this problem is to ignore all messages that are sent to you.
popular platforms do not random ads to users.
they will try to list fake volumes of scam coins and playing of it on coinmarketcap.
There is no reason to send your expensive bitcoin on anonymous site.
Sometimes people who don't know always want to try what the message has been sent to them, that's not all because what I know is that many victims before them are trapped in fake exchanges because they are tempted by the offer given via short messages.
Honestly, the people in this forum I am not worried about because they will know how the precautions are given in several other threads, while those who are not active in this forum could be the victims, often they spread it on social media with many followers because rewards that don't come in my opinion.
So this post is certainly very useful for all of us to awaken ourselves from the exchange forgery.

Thanks for the heads up. These scammers keep coming up with ways to defraud and rip people off their hard earned money. I've had a similar experience with an exchange like Getbitcap although, they were offering higher crypto prices that looked like a good arbitrage opportunity to take advantage of. Well, I won't go into the gory details about but at the end of the day, I learnt that one doesn't have to get too excited when presented with an offer that's too good to be true. Whether it's a giveaway, bonus or other opportunities, realizing that there's no FREE money even in Freetown goes a long way.

It would also help if everyone reports their domain and website, and stay away from Getbitcap and all similar websites.

Reporting their website to namecheap won't do anything as namecheap itself don't give a damn if they are hosting a scam website. I have seen previous posts about this and compared to other website hosting service they don't reply to your queries or take any action about anything all they care about is the money going in their company. Best alternative is what you have done now and make people aware here in the forum that such a scam website exists so besides that if the promotions of this scam exchange is still in the Telegram channels you are in I would recommend you to report their accounts using the channel of Telegram for reporting scams as this is what they have recommended for abusive users using their app for illicit activities.

With all the evidences against them, it is absolute that Getbitcap is a fake exchange that will only make use of malacious ways to scam people. I have to check Coinmarketcap and Coingecko, they are not found there. I will strongly recommend people to first check these two websites or using their apps to know the authenticity of an exchange, because exchanges are not just listed on the platforms, they have set of creteria before listing an exchange on their site which would have been proven that the exchange listed is not scam one.

It is no doubt that this fake exchange (Getbitcap) will generate addresses of the coins they will pose to support to people that visit the exchange site, anyone that send bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency into the exchange has just been a victim of scam. It is strongly important to stay away from fake exchanges and to first make use of sites like Coinmarketcap and Coingecko to check if an exchange is not a fake one.

Don't fall for the trap of fake exchanges like Getbitcap who are sending you private messages on discord or telegram claiming you received some giveaway.
This is old scheme but this time they invested a bit more money to create better looking website that even has a fake help center with zendesk and faq page.
Their domain is freshly registered only few days ago so it is important not to register their and don't send any cryptocurrencies in that black hole website.

Just for confirmation and testing I registered with temporary email but I don't recommend anyone doing this.
Going on their terms and referrals page is giving me cloudflare error page, but trading page working and is showing totally fake volume showing some big bitcoin and other coins trading.
Everything here is obviously fake and more experienced users will know that but this warning is mostly for new members.

It would also help if everyone reports their domain and website, and stay away from Getbitcap and all similar websites.
