I don’t know what the ESH team is doing now.
Ghost is doing pretty good! I’m looking forward to the polygon bridge.

Thanks for your response.
I am a holder and community member since the beginning.
GHOST hast started as a erc-20 airdrop to ESH holders.
Since then it was a crazy rollercoaster but the project did very well in the last year.
A new team came up and fixed a lot. Now it has its own blockchain and is working fine.
The APY for staking is 11% and by holding more then 20k GHOST it is 29%.
I think it is a really cool project and should deserve more attention.
Especially because there was a lot of development in recent time.
For example GHOST Sheltr, a mobile wallet which comes as a PWA (Progressive Web Application).
Soon they release wrapped GHOST on the polygon network which should bring some more liquidity.
And it is possible to send, recieve and stake GHOST with a telegram bot called GHOSTpay. Cheesy

I‘ve posted the links because they give a detailed overview how the project is going…

As I am not deep in coding I would be curious what others think about the last developments.
To me it looks pretty good. Smiley
I am also among the early community members, that really reminds how Ghost came to be, still holding my own Ghost, How about the ESH team? is the project still existing? it's been a while since i follow their update. Anyways i will keep on following Ghost development and see what they will do in the future, I thin the team is really focus at the moment.

Why does a passed-away person, John Mcafee, has something to do with this?
-cut-
John Mcafee endorsed this back in time, but to be fair he endored ton of different shitcoins as he got paid to do it. And now Ghost is still trying to ride with the John Mcafee name (or his ghost if you will), most likely because Ghost has nothing else to offer. Only dead man's promise of a pump that never happened. I find the whole project pretty sad example of how not to do advertising.

I am truly seeking for privacy and I also like monero!
GHOST was invented by John McAfee, even if he did some rugs I still like and followed him.
As GHOST is about freedom and privacy I thought he could be serious about building a great privacy coin. Unfortunately he passed away.
Further I still think it is a great coin with anon and public transactions. I can only see the community, the fundamentals and how the blockchain works which I think are all very good.
But I would love if someone with coding knowledge could check the tech side.
This is the github: https://github.com/ghost-coin
There is a new folder created for the polygon bridge and bitcore message (what is this?)
Also the new wallet, it is a progressive web app (PWA), what do you think about it?

Why does a passed-away person, John Mcafee, has something to do with this? Who is the person you are referring to?

I am just surprised why it gets no attention.

Simply because those who seek truly by-default privacy coin chosses the project who did not brag too much about, like, the team made great development and staking-related rewards. They are focused to use and utilize project who are verifiably secure and private, and the community itself are thriving for privacy-enabled/enhancing technologies, instead sole focusing on user acquisition by luring users to come to make money.

Thanks for the feedback!
As a underdog and a privacy coin they did great with restoring the blockchain.
The anon transactions get up to 32 ring signatures.
Also the staking features are nice and the new released PWA wallet feels well coded.
If you hold over 20k GHOST you get a reward, called veteran reward. Before the team has paid out this reward manually. Now the pay put is programmed and when you hold over 20k in your wallet you get the reward automatically.
And the dev team has released a program called GHOST vault which you can run on raspberry pi for anon staking.

Everything is working very good.

I am just surprised why it gets no attention.

I guess people are very fearful of privacy coins in many ways. Such as crack downs on them, regulations and it being exposed. Also as an investment they see far more bigger gains elsewhere with far less risk. Monero is the way to go, even John Mcafee was a Monero fan, only reason I sat that is because of what you put in your original post.

True privacy that is tried and tested is Monero.

What do you think about the project?
Haven't heard of it, not sure if there is a ANN thread for this project, if not then it might be good if the project itself will create one in this community. If there is, then the OP should continue his shilling of it in their ANN thread because he/she didn't offer something new here. Just the normal "I'm a bag holder" promotion and everyone should get on board because it's a promising project.

Sorry to burst the bubble, usually this kind of shilling might back fire hard on the project itself. No need to hype if the project is real or if it has potential to be big in the future, just saying.

The way I see this is that some random people suddenly showed up trying to revive a dead project. You came here and posted it in the hopes that you could help in reviving this coin. I don't blame you for doing that since you're a holder. It sucks when your money is stuck and this is probably your way of getting out at break even. You could get lucky since there are times when crypto goes crazy and some unknown coin or token unexpectedly pumps.

What do you think about the project?

There's nothing special about this project, I know you have explained everything about the development of $GHOST, but those are all mainstream developments that happen in the privacy coin project (IMO). The price for the $GHOST token is also very volatile, you can see it on the chart at CMC. The exchange that listed $GHOST is also not a top exchange like TradeOgre and StakeCube. If it continues like this, it will be very difficult to increase its market capitalization.

The dev team did a great job in recent time.
based on what?

I see GHOST as a promising project with strong fundamentals of which there are not many.
based on what?

Additionally I think the whole market for privacy coins will gain a lot of attraction in the future...
Based on what? because certainly not based on the growing number of regulations, the risk of delisting from large exchanges and the risk of not being able to cash in tokens.

The APY for staking is 11% and by holding more then 20k GHOST it is 29%.
Where does money come from? does the project generate any profits? Does anyone use it? Does high apy comes from monetary inflation?

A new team came up and fixed a lot. Now it has its own blockchain and is working fine.

Why would anyone use low cap coin that just lauched its own blockchain when you have monero, which has an established position, a relatively stable price and proved in battlefield private blockchain not even cracked by FBI.

Is this a paid advertisement, or are you the representative of the Ghost privacy projects?
because this post looks like shilling to me. You could have dropped detailed information regarding the project because not everyone might have the time to go through an entire blog or even trust a link posted by a newbie enough to open it.

If you are not part of the project, I will really advise you to stay off such projects. Read a few lines of their content; they look interesting since they are all about privacy protection, hiding the user's identity, etc. The project looks pretty old, and they have come a long way. But looking at their few listed exchanges, I will advise you to stay off buying such coins or tokens because you never know what will happen next in the coming days: no active trade, low volume, orders very weak, etc.
