The problem with a lot of these responses attacking my view on the issue is they do not take everything into account.
A allegation against a banned member,made by a alt account when he could not represent himself.
If you want this forum to conduct business in this way,its no longer about some ones reputation and a feeding ground for smear campaigns.

The allegations where settled in meta and the accused understood and stated that he understood. Soon after this thread opens up once he can no longer speak on the issue. So why are we encouraging some one that has not even come back to the thread to make these attacks after the fact?

Not making a case for him but think its unfair to do attacks on members no matter how deep the evidence.
Just looked at the accused posts and it looks like it will be a short time before he is banned again.


Doubt he even knows this thread exsists,I find a lot of off the cuff remarks about me in threads by accident most of the time.
Most people do not expect to end up in this forum or know it is even here.

He is back again but never bothered to reply here or in his Meta thread where he brought up the issue with other shit posting account.Maybe he is too busy dealing with his little signature campaign business.

There is nothing to speak about; he was a spammer. The proof is in his posts, which are public for everyone to read. There are no excuses for spamming, especially while he was getting paid for it.

As I stated already and showed in the link the discussion has been had,any farther accusations are for what benefit?
Till he comes back we really do not know the extent of the fall out and its not shallow reasoning to state such.

If you had something to go on that was a extension of the issue,by all means lets read it.

Its pretty shallow to focus on who is making the report from what account and not facing the matter at hand. A campaign manager who's main job is to catch spammers was banned for spamming himself, why dont we focus on that? Do you think we should wait untill the ban is finished to hold a proper discussion?

The person that this thread is about is currently banned for spam. Therefore the point I am making is its a real cowardly thing to hide behind a new account and use his ban against him,knowing he can not represent himself.

The above is the thread where he is told not to push it and this thread showed up not long after that.

So my point was about cowards hiding behind a new account and expecting judgement,when they can not show the decency of unmasking themselves in a way that would reflect on their trust.
End of the day this is a smear thread as the issue has already been addressed and the accused will learn from it or he wont. Judging them now is pointless and not giving them the chance to right their actions.
The anon aspect was in reference to the reasoning KenR was giving about that overriding the point.

I haven't been with his campaigns ever but sure thing he has good reputation when it comes to managing campaigns.  Sure thing its important for him to perform well as he is paid to do it.
He can reason out to the Mods but I'm not sure if they will make considerations.  5 Days is going to be forever. 

It's not the only thing that matters, but I'd say it matters.  And I think one should definitely have to sacrifice that extra bit of anonymity when accusations are made.  Be a man.  Posting from a primary account isn't exactly like doxxing yourself.  Just my opinion.

Anon is something most of us like about bitcoin but the part you miss is he accusing a member of wrong. Its either legit or a smear campaign and if its the latter he could do it over and over with no problems. Say he includes the OPs personal information are we still holding to the anon factor. Seems to be a double standard and in the real world you get to face your accuser. There is a reason for this.

It totally matters.  If you're going to accuse someone of something, I want to know who's accusing.   And so does the accused.  Especially in silly bullshit like this.

Of course a member that has been here for a long time with a good track record is going to have more sway than a new member throwing a accusation around.
For one,you have a long history to judge that persons track record,as opposed to anyone being behind a new account. Its a factor,not every aspect I take into the soup when I look at issue.
You make it seem like I am basing all judgement on this aspect,what I am saying is I do not respect a person that needs to hide,its cowardly and sleazy tactic to drive home your issues. I look at the evidence but lets take a look at this more clearly if we want to attack this person and not the OP.

There is already a thread in meta where the accused was asking for clarification and was told he was wrong and he seems to have got the point.
Opening a accusation thread well he is banned and can not represent himself does what for the forum? It looks like a witchhunt rather than a thread for the accused to come in and give his reasoning for his actions.

So a unknown with a agenda,trying to accuse a member that has no voice due to being banned. Is this the kind of behavior we want to allow?

I followed that issue as well and it had all kinds of issues connected to it,like the use of sock puppets. Knowing you went through a pretty good fight over that I appreciate your view on the issue. But in the court of law most people get to face their accuser and you knowing also relieves a bit of that unknown aspect as well.

So you mean,an accusation made by a DT member has more weight over an accusation made by a newbie account ? Sounds illogical to me.I think the base of the accusation decides how weighted it is regardless of its creator.

I would love to face the real person but if he is hinting at the right directions which do sound true to me or he has proved that I'm wrongful of my things ,then its perfectly fine to face him anonymously.Again,it doesn't matter who the person is ,he proved I have done wrong matters.

Maybe you can weigh the discussion based on people's personality or character ,I don't.If the point being made is correct,it qualifies for the rightful.To extend your opinion further ,if a thief ever makes a case that he is being raped guess what you will never believe him right ? (And yes, you could take being banned for spamming as proof enough, but having examples is always better.)

From having faced a [farfetched] similar situation (for those who want to look it up, MisterMiyagi about mexxers/my position on DT2), I can say it doesn't really make that big a difference.
Although I found out about the person behind the account at one point, which was relieving to know (the situation cleared up at that point anyway).

Disagree. If some one is going to slander or make a accusation it should be from their main account as then we can judge the accuser and the weight of the accusation more clearly. If you where accused would you rather not face the person or just have this unknown person accuse you of wrongs?
When you weigh a discussion you should take all factors into play. Knowing the person has past history of vague/false accusations would sway the discussion for sure. We are not able to judge his trust or character. The accuser should be held to the same flame otherwise the accusation for me is a wash.

It reads like some one is worried their argument is thin or they have a axe to grind. Like I stated it weakens the argument,so why would they choose that route knowing that to begin with!

It doesn't matter what account is.More importantly,the point being conveyed should.I think its completely fine to create a new account if you're too bothered about your reputation or any other aspects that are keeping you off from posting through the main account.People are more concerned about what the problem is rather than who the person is.As long you have proofs to base your opinions and desire to fight the case I think its fine.Agree there are troll's who bring up crap against people but you know that's never taken too seriously.

Posting under a new account just takes away all aspects you present because you are unwilling to stand behind your real account.

He even got the nerves to make a whining complaint to the admins and asked for exceptions from the rules
