It’s fine in exactly the same way as to how you don’t know why your house doesn’t collapse. You think you know, but ask any construction worker or architect, and you’ll find out that you have no clue what’s keeping your house standing upright for decades on end. Or, if your car breaks down, you think you know what’s wrong, but you aren’t able to fix it yourself, so you bring it into the repair shop.
Life’s basics became luxuries, more expensive by the year, instead of necessities — right down to the most basic of things human beings live for at all. But that is the exact opposite of what happened elsewhere in the world. Not iPhones and Facebook. But the fundamentals of a decent life. Retirement, healthcare, education, income, savings, safety, stability, marriage, families, trust itself. All these things are simply now unaffordable for the average American. And worse, they are skyrocking in price every year. 66% of Americans choose between food and healthcare. Do you see what I mean?
Apple’s popular Apple Watch has created a cottage industry of super-cheap smartwatches that, in some case, look a lot like the Apple Watch and even offer some of the same features, but won’t offer the same level of iPhone and iOS integration or, based on some of the reviews I read of the Q7, reliability.
As far as I’m concerned, I eat healthily overall every day, but I regularly treat myself to cake and cheat meals. As the year has gone by, I have probably seen my body tone up a bit, and I’ve lost some weight. But I haven’t turned into a fitness machine, and probably you won’t either. Seeing noticeable and lasting results often requires more intensity and a flawless lifestyle.
