I think that it is for the better that they closed because a lot of issues have been stacking on them or they probably just have to close to make some big changes. I checked some websites that list gambling websites and I didn't find them. Maybe because they have already closed but I don't think that they will quickly update it though.

I just seen that gigabet is closed.
It's so ridiculous.... people were betting hard to increase level / rank  and gigabet closed without any reason / notice...

But probably there was a reason too few people played so they barely had an income. Actually they didnt have much people in chat last time.

But I should admit the last event of gigabet was good, they given some rains in chats and people could withdraw them. I did withdraw 10 USD from rains 

IDK about the idiot part,  I think it's probably you PeterRabbit that has the lesser intelligence since you didnt bother to think it through.  The fact that the site closed without notification or reason is pretty damning evidence that the site was not legit from the get go.  Any legit site is going to know ahead of time that it's going to close and will give users ample notice.  It's the non-legit sites that just come and go mysteriously without warning and without reason.  And since it's now a KNOWN FACT that this was a non-legit site,  which makes theft of coins by the site itself not a stretch.  It's VERY possible and actually VERY LIKELY that the site did steal from this user.  ESPECIALLY if they were having solvency problems.  Steal from one to pay the many........  But thats only going to work for a VERY short period of time and that's exactly what happened.  A short while later,  the site CLOSED without warning and without reason.  Although one can guesstimate that the reason was insolvency since we have reports of coin theft happening on the site shortly before it's demise sudden and unexpected (by users anyway) demise.

You know what I find amusing?  Before the site closed, most armchair QBs (such as PeterRabbit here) were criticizing those making claims AGAINST the site and were calling the critics "idiots" with "no proof" yada yada yada (all the while, the proof was pretty undeniable to say the least,  they just werent intelligent enough to see it).  Then,  those SAME armchair QBs try to turn the tables and say it was idiocy to deal with a sketchy site.  Giving absolutely NO credit to those who criticized the site BEFORE it was 100% certain that it was not legit.

well since there is a final decision from the team that they are now closing i think the discussion here is over now be ause their days has ended and all the possible mistakes must be taken as learning from experiences because not all gambling site are legit and even if they are pleasing everybody is the hardest task from their end.

I just visited some few sites to see if I can get a hand full of meaningful information but all I can find are testimonies of participants cashing out from gigabet. I also discovered it comprises of lots of games open to gamblers. All I can say is DYOR try to see if you can actually get the information you seek on different websites or perhaps you could patiently wait some one right here might provide you with the answer you seek.

I constantly see a dispute between customers and gambling sites and I do not see the country or entity that provided a license to resolve the dispute and penalize the gambling site, most of the time the case ends with financial loss. have you heard of any dispute case where the gambling site has lost its license by punishment due to some scam report?

As they said their last announcement on telegram that they have lowered the withdrawal limit. And they said to wait untill tomorrow (today). So maybe those pending withdrawal will be affected today. Or if they come with another excuse that also will not be surprising  imo.

As @sujonali1819 says, Gigabet already announces their status to remain open until April 5th 2021, so their members can withdraw all of their coins. It is a good opportunity for the members to withdraw and leave the site as the site seems to want to close the site. I think they need to spread this news on their social media if they have so all of their members know about the announcement. I hope the members will not have a problem while they withdraw the coins and everything will be okay for both sides.

Communication in any venue should always open, it won't bring confusions and doubts as people who are using the site

I have not heard about such casino until you mention it in this thread and after checking their casino and reviews by the players I also doubt the fairness of the casino gigabet.

1)The users say they got ban by the moderator Wolfcub whenever he wish to do so without any valid reason

I asked everyday for 5 days when they're wallet would be working. I also asked who the provider of the wallet was so I could verify there was actually a problem with there wallet provider. What they kept telling me was it was the providers fault. So they kicked me just for asking

After seeing here the news of maintenance, I knocked their admin via telegram (we meet before for some reason), message did not read/replied but I saw in their telegram channel that the site will back online later today and all people will be able to withdraw their fund. I also don't like their such maintenance without notice. Atleast they can give some update on social media on time.

Edit: Just see the site is open and the new announcement posted. People can not make deposit/bet/tips but they can withdraw their fund till 4 April . You guys should withdraw your fund before deadline.

Checked the website now and they are on maintenance. I'm not familiar with their platform but based on the other replies here they've been doing maintenance for a couple of days and they even require KYC for their users. Platforms like this are really suspicious, maintenance should not take that long if they manage it properly. People should avoid this type of platforms, there are many good gambling website out there that are very reputable and very active on announcements or answering the queries of their customers.

Not all gambling site needs to be here in Bitcointalk.org because others specially scammers are trying to prevent being here because they Know that this forum is actively checking all their activities and they will be broadcast when they try to Victimized here.

Their website is still under maintenance and no specific time frame on when they will be coming back. But since you already had an issue before this happened, I think they cant be trusted based on the reviews and experience of those who play on this site.

I had 17 Horizen coins stolen from my account ( one hour after being banned in the chat )by who I believe was there moderators a couple weeks ago I wouldn't doubt if they are exiting

Common cycle when it comes for new sites after a recent site had been turned out to be a scam.Sorry for those people who had some funds left on this one.

This do really looks and exit scam because no site would really be down on 3 days straight which this one is really a solid indication that they had already ran off

Not looking really great, but I don't think they are going to exit scam.  Just poor management and communication.

Their website always worked for me, but you could tell they were some third world operators.

Hopefully they come back online.  It'd be weird if they scammed with a maintenance screen, rather than letting people to continue to deposit.

Looks like no worries now.  The site has been down for over 3 days straight.  Their host either pulled the plug or they exit scammed.  They had a DNS error for a few mins (Cloudflare caught it and returned it as a 409 - 1018 error),  then poof, site down "for Maint" for 3 days straight.  good riddance,  the site was sketchy at best anyway lol  Kind of ironic that it came only a short time after I exposed their "Provably Fair" shenanigans.  Be on the lookout for a "new site" that magically pops up here pretty soon in the future that looks suspiciously similar to GB

I have to agree,  Gigabet is not really helping itself in the "legit" area and I'll explain why below.

So in this post I am going to outline why I believe gigabet.com is a NON-Provably fair casino despite their claims to be such an entity.  As far as I'm aware,  there are very few posts about gigabet here on Bitcointalk and none of them have any replies from the site admins themselves as far as I can tell (I sent them this link in their support ticket area so that they COULD reply).  So I guess this type of a post shouldnt come as a surprise since many new casinos are indeed scams anyway.  Before I can begin, I have to outline sites which ARE provably fair and that implement it in a couple different ways so that we have a baseline to work with.

Freebitco.in:
This site implements a provably fair system that is identical to that of gigabet.com (to be expected anyway) in every way EXCEPT in how it's implemented.  Freebitco.in provides the user the Hashed server seed, nonce, client seed, AND the actual server seed itself after EVERY roll on it's site and the end of every roll generates a NEW server hash.  Whether it's for a gambling roll or their faucet rolls.  The nonce is the bet ID for your specific account and has nothing to do with the server seed at all.  IMO This is the best implementation that a casino can have as there is nothing being hidden anywhere,  it's LIGHTING fast to verify a roll with 1 single click right in the site's own roll results page UI.  A bot can do it as the rolls happen without making any extra API calls to the server.  Their provably fair system is second to none.  It's simply the best there is.

Primedice:
This site implements a provably fair system that is identical to that of gigabet.com in every way EXCEPT in how it's implemented.  Primedice will only reveal a server hash if you generate a new server hash.  Doing so is not as intuitive as it could be via the UI when compared to sites like Freebitco.in,  but via a bot its very simple.  You just make a call to generate a new hash, then immediately send the server the game's ID and you'll be able to retrieve the server hash for the roll/game/spin/whatever that had just happened.  Also note that the nonce at primedice is tied to the server hash since a single server hash can be re-used (why anyone would want to do that.... no idea,  but it works I guess).  So nonce is the bet ID for that server seed which introduces a new problem of having to regenerate a server key if the user wants to verify previous rolls.  The key here is that there is no time limit on when you can make a "new server seed" request which makes it a viable option for provably fairness.

Stake:
This site is identical to Primedice when it comes to provably fair,  it too has no time limit on when you can generate new seeds.  Most sites implement it this way from what I can tell,  but it's very easy to verify rolls on both Stake and Primedice,  but not nearly as easy as Freebitco.in.  Stake and Primedice are provably fair in my book even though they are both not what I would consider ideal implementations.

Now lets compare to Gigabet

Gigabet implements the SAME provably fair system as the sites above with a few differences that are IMO very very suspect.  It's almost like they want to purposely make it impossible to actually verify rolls,  even by way of automated means which is EXTREMELY suspect IMO and something that isnt difficult at all with any of the sites above.

1.  There is NO WAY to view a roll's "server seed" in the Roll result's UI.  None.  It simply doesnt exist.  It literally has no field,  whether you have generated a new server seed or not.  The only data it has in the UI is the "Nonce", hashed version of the server seed, and the client seed.  There isnt even a LINK to where you can find the server seed.  Anywhere.  There isnt one in their FAQs, there isnt one in the roll result page,  it's NO WHERE to be found.   Instead,  they have silently buried the actual server seed in a separate page that is well hidden in their menu system.  Once you find it,  all if will have is the server seed and the number of rolls that used that server seed (AKA nonce in this case).  It's up to you to figure out which roll went with which server seed and nonce.
2.  The roll results in their own UI only shows the last 20 rolls.  Thats it.  Thats all you get.  There is no history,  no archive,  no anything for past rolls.  Once a roll has scrolled off the page,  your are SOL if you havent logged it's ID in a local DB somewhere.
3.  The server seed changing mechanism is behind a time wall.  You cant regenerate a new server (nor client) seed whenever you want.  You have to wait at least 1 min between requests.  This 1 item ALONE is enough for me to suspect something is going on that shouldnt be.

My conclusive opinion:

The biggest problem is #3,  the time limit.  The others can be dealt with by using a bot at the time a roll happens.  IMO There is absolutely no reason for putting a prohibitive time limit (more than once every 2 seconds IMO is prohibitive since it would lower the BPS of a bot that verifies every roll) on when someone can generate a new server/client seed pair.  The only reason I can think of is to purposely try deter people from even bothering to try to verify rolls.  And once you cross that line,  it's open season on your reputation because why would any casino want to purposely deter someone from verifying their roll results.  There is only 1 reason for that.  Because things are NOT as they should be and they are adding in every hoop they can think of to try to hide it while still trying to claim things are "provably fair".

I would like to hear other's opinions on the tactics Gigabet has employed to hide it's server seeds from it's users through the way the UI works all the way down to the time wall.

BTW,  if you dont see a reply from Gigabet,  that should just add to the suspicions that have already been voiced here by not only myself,  but quite a few others in this small thread.  I gave them this link specifically,  I know they read the mail (I got a read notification when they opened my mail) and now know that this thread exists,  if they dont reply..... well,  I guess that says it all.

UPDATE:  So,  to get some discussion from their own users,  I posted this in their chat:  "As promised,  I did an article on Gigabet's "Provably Fair" process.  You can find it by searching "Gigabet" on bitcointalk.  Join the discussion.".  I was immediately BANNED from chat for 6 months and the chat was deleted within seconds.  Take that as you will,  it didnt violate any of their "Chat Rules".  Just more support that this place is a pile.  If there were ever a "chart" for their reputation,  I could imagine that it would look pretty bearish with it taking a HUGE nose dive from this day forward lol.

Well, I got your point but perhaps that user above did not serious about what he said. Perhaps that site is a very strict policy, I never tried them but this is only my perspective view of those who already gave their views. What is the reason for banning it in chat? --perhaps you offended them and perhaps you bothering other players. There could be a reason why some gambling sites does this, it is cleaning for their community because as I observed in the different chatbox, sometimes there are users who accused a false statement towards the site.

Yes I agree with you but unfortunately having an ANN thread on bitcointalk is not a total guarantee of trustworthiness either. It doesn't prevent them to do an exit scam whenever they want

However, for me if there is a thread and a support team here, it will be much easier for us to connect with them. From local room, the mod says if he just working to be representative on chat and core team never talked about this forum. There are two possible reasons why they don't give any response,

Maybe the support is not active, they do not give any responses on time. Or maybe they just avoid answering questions from its users. This might be their way to avoid getting words from users that might spread anything suspicious about them. This is something fishy, but who knows, we really don't have any evidence or information to say if this is legitimate or not.

 purpose of ann is not only to comunicate or to answer users concern but it will also help thier site grow more because forumers and outsiders can see the website regularly if the ann thread is active but bumping it to on top is a violation .

my funds were not frozen and I could withdraw them,  but I was wagering hard in this site to increase my level to get more gigacoins and when I was banned I lost access to gigacoins at all, so it's a disrespect for me.
If we talk about withdrawals or provably fair mechanism they are working normally so technically the gigabet is not scam.

Why not try playing the most legit and popular gambling site? You can find it here in the forum the popular site which indicates the reviews of the users. With this gigabet I'm not familiar because I’m betting into a popular casino.And this is suspicious if just chatting and will ban you this will give you a hint that there's something wrong on their site. Also we can read some good and negative reviews on this and it really depends on us whether to continue playing. So we have an option to play to those very legitimate online casino with no distress.

If things are as OP claims then the most likely story is that they don't want many real people reaping rewards from their rewards scheme. In other words, their reward is just a scheme to bait users into coming into the site but probably isn't sustainable to keep for everyone so they just ban people. Seems like a scummy practice and I would avoid such casino.

I will not try to make a research about this site because of this, why the moderator will ban you by just chatting around? If that's the case then they should remove the chat box at the first place so the players can no longer communicate with the other players or send spam messages.

I don't play on not familiar gambling site for this reason, the risk is much higher than to gamble. Other players was able to withdraw their funds and do gambling but knowing that you can easily get banned for nothing that's very alarming for me. If you don't trust the gambling site anymore then play on the most trusted gambling site and play without worrying that much.

gigabet doesnt offer rakeback so wager amount only affects level and so daily gigacoins quantity

Thats bullshit stuff and actually this problem is actually into those chat mods not from the admin itself.If you had already made a complaint then it might had been fixed up or those mods had been scolded

Have you tried contacting the support or maybe try to create a dummy account to ask why did that happen? I think banning users in chat is common thing I've experienced it or maybe muting the user for like 1 hour or so but i think it's not right that you will not have access to other things such as what you call gigacoins.

I was playing much on gigabet last 2 weeks, well I can say it's technically not a scam, they process withdrawals normally, BUT

And one resentful mod from Philipines chat, the chat I never used entered to English chat and banned me for nothing!

BUT once I got banned I can't access more to gigacoins.

So I worked hard to increase level, I have 9000 USD wagered in total and now happened this bullshit, total disrespect to me.

To my opinion we don't have enough information and fact here to make conclusion if site is legit or not and it would be wrong to make false acussations. The fact that they don't official account here maleš things hardver.
However, just like in any other similar case my advice is not to use the site. If you can't be sure better to be safe than sorry until you get more information if you are willing to do deeper research.

Comments no matter positive and negative can be faked. You should not believe in review sites as well, especially if the review sites looks suspicious.

he already sees negative feedback in the reviews. if the team knew about negative feedback, they usually fix things and does promotion to negate the issue yet we don't see the team doing it like having a promotion or did a spam post in bitcointalk. thats like not minding the clients.

Not all casinos are listed or introduced on bitcointalk.org ...so you should assume that the mention of any casino here, gives it any kind of legitimacy. (There has been 1000's of scam ICO's and scam cloud mining services mentioned on this site before, so you should look much wider than this forum to determine if it is legit or not.)

Also, some of these sites are not true Crypto currency casinos... some are traditional online casinos with an option to gamble with Crypto currencies. (They prefer Fiat currencies, but they are cashing in on the Crypto currency phenomenon)

I'm not really that familiar or expert with cryptocurrency casinos since I'm new to the field but is there a chance where we can look on their license? I think license is important like the normal online casinos they can't operate without it.
