Ill preface with this im running windows 10 64bit, 4gb ram, 6 cards problem and rig was working fine with everything else on different cards. I have tried both my mod and the stock bios and when i try the stock bios i get about 9mh. I have tried all the usual things like reinstall drivers going down to one card and checking risers just in case. ok so i have tried to fix these cards and im running into a brick wall. i have 6 gigabyte gaming 4gb 570 cards that are all doing the same thing. i have applied my bios that i used on over 50 other gigabyte 570 4gb same ram cards and they work fine but these cards are not. what im experienceing is when i put the bios mod on the card and after i pixel patch and restart i get the system to boot up and into the miner. i can get them to hash but when i put in 1150 for core clock im getting about half that as it shows like 575 but the mem clock is good at 2066. yes thes cards work great at that number with the mod i have. Now here is the strange part i have tried to increase the power tune as they set these cards extremely low 90 max power i tried my settings of top power 150 top amp 140 and max power 160 and that bumps up the core clock a bit but i still have to push msi afterburner all the way up on the powertune to +50 to make it even get in the 1000 area. what am i experiencing and has anybody else had this. if so what did you do to remedy this. i tried the stock bios even a bios from gigabyte themselves and nothing seems to remedy it. in hwinfo it shows over 200w being used which is crazy.

There a few things you can do.

Try putting it in a different slot, if you put it into the 16x slot, you might have to plug a monitor into it to get it to run at the full speed.

Try plugging in an HDMI adapter to it to mimic a fake monitor.

Try and see if you got a different memory chip from your other GPUs or see if your BIOS revision is different. There are times when a certain batch of cards has a different BIOS and only that BIOS will work with it. This happened a few years ago with the Gigabyte Radeon 7950/7970 cards. Where different BIOS only worked with certain cards.

IF all else fails just send it back to the manufacteur for an RMA.

Do not expect much from asus or gigabyte, they use the same memory gpu chips, i would stay away from them, my friend has many rx 570 and the only with problems are gigabyte and asus, the cooling and the craftsmanship on them is poor, their quality control is terrible on low end - mainstream gpus, on high end a little better but still not as good as others like evga.
