Well now there is a new girl that wants to be a 'crypto influencer'. The Australian singer Iggy Azalea is going to launch a new casino called Motherland Casino in Singapore.
I did see some videos on my timeline. And it is just half dressed girls dancing around and they are being treated like sex workers. With money being put all over them. I dont like when a woman uses her sex to make people want to invest in their crypto projects.

There should definitely be no scope for gender discrimination in the crypto world and there may be many who are women. In the present world system men and women are getting recognition for their work simultaneously. I personally know many women who are involved in cryptocurrency even besides managing their families.

It's the skill and experience and so much more that shape your view of a person in a community (in any community, really) - so, I fully support you.

Your thinking is absolutely correct, there is no difference between children and adults when it comes to working in crypto. I know many people like you and I have many classmates who are girls, they work in crypto like me. But I think most of the girls are from the young generation but there are many women who work in crypto and earn money. That's why it can be said that there is no age difference to work in crypto, only experience, mindset and learning are needed.

It's beautiful really that anybody who has the determination and time needed can get involved in crypto. There so many spheres to stick in that everybody would have shot, question is where exactly Grin

Well I think there is alot of women 'crypto influencers' because they know men will watch them. There is alot of men that invest in crypto and we like to see a beautiful woman.
But this does not mean we should follow her crypto investing advice. There is only just a few times I did try to talk about Bitcoin with my female co workers but they were not interested.

It’s difficult for women to break into male-dominated fields. Due to a few reasons being lack of awareness, representation and just gender bias. Since not much women are in the field, it’s already less considered by other women as they do not see a lot of women in it. Because of lack of representation they aren’t able to find mentors and support that they need when trying to get into the industry.

Lastly many of those who are part of the industry have some discriminatory biases against women which ultimately discourage them to further be interested in the field.
I agree partially because now things are taking changes, and we are having girls or women's in every field which is good change here we can't justify about girls percentage even few are saying we have 10:1 but I am not agreed about this because I have feeling now it's almost changed, we are having more girls here just because we have no specific thing to know about this we are having talk this they are less but in last few months we have good increase into their presence which is good for them and community as well.

After covid now we are having good changes like now peoples understand they can work from home with having all knowledge and other related things, and also they are well aware about technology is surely bringing good ways for everyone because in many fields we have no requirement of having gender specification so now they are working freely.

So far we do not see any increasing potential in the crypto field that comes from women, considering that it may be too difficult for them, but in fact what happened was that we did not find women in this field, it can be said that this is an option from the lack of awareness of women who are not too updated in the crypto field.

there were already lots of them in crypto. some are even YouTubers which is quite impressive especially when they know exactly what is going on politically and some scandals in crypto especially with SEC involvement. there are a few that i subscribed especially Laura Shin.

if girls are users in this forum, however, i have some doubts about them. maybe there are really girls in the forum but announcing it seems suspicious enough,  Grin
and besides there is no need to announce about being  Women because that does not help them in anyway .

Cryptocurrency market is for everybody as long you can read and understand difference wallet network used to send and receive as a digital currency, gender doesn't matter in the crypto industrial. Hence you can differentiate difference Blockchain and Smart contract address, that is the basic knowledge  and as we all know that Bitcoin is a digital assets, in which the same with other alt-coins in the ecosystem.
You can find girls in crypto market, and you can also find boys in crypto market for you to know that is a big place where buyers and sellers use to carry out transaction that will favor them.

There are many girls in the crypto industry, and it will be difficult for you to identify them in the market because everybody want to remain anonymous in the industry just to protect their personality which is very important to female crypto users.

If you use anyhow wallet to hodle your crypto, scammers can have access to your crypto and you will not be happy which I will like to advise you to use safe wallet to hodl your crypto to fulfill your purpose of hodling it for long.

Well, this forum is open to everyone, male or female. You are welcome here, and whether you have an interest or not, you can peek or stay here in the forum. There are others here who are just curious or just finding out what is on this platform.
It is recommended that we all participate in this forum especially if you are a member. It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, or you have been here for years. But there's also no shame if you want to lurk around read a few posts and try to just learn as much as you can.

Even if you are a man or a woman, I hope this forum stays open and welcoming to all people
What do you mean by a member? An existing BTC user? Yeah. It is a must as this forum is highly associated with the coin. It is still fine to have more than one community, so that we can share our knowledge to the people there in case they haven't found out this forum yet. As a complete noob, it is our pleasure if they will start here.

For those veteran and pioneer users, a lot of them were may be laying low for a while and sadly some have retired. Reading is fine and actually more important than asking but it made sense because when already gained more knowledge from what we read, there is no need for us to ask a question anymore. We can save time here as well. There is no gender requirement in BTC because it is only a currency. BTC is still strong but we can't tell the future, so indeed that we can only hope for the best.

There many girls in the crypto space and in the forum.A girl that feels like not investing on Bitcoin thinking that it's a waste of time because of the gender inequality, such a person doesn't know that Bitcoin doesn't only allow the male to access the network,it is accessible by both genders.Shout out to all the girls in the the crypto industry your bold, brave and strong.
In modern times, those girls are just lazy to know what's more with BTC. If they don't want to invest, it's because they just don't want to and they are going to let their man do the rest. Someone who has interest on BTC whether he's an speculator or an investor will spend their time in knowing more of it. But if they do really want to know about it, they will take time learning the basic concepts and things needed to know upon getting into crypto.

There are many females I know in the cryptocurrency community even in this place or forum I know some of them. And you like to know contact lovesmayfamilis and she will tell you more. So you are not alone in the forum there are many and in real life, in most cases it is in the trading section you see females in the cryptocurrency community. They are more in the trading section. There was a female I meant in my city that is very good with cryptocurrency so I learned from her too in sometimes.
Of course we have to know that she is really a woman. Sometimes there are many people who take advantage of this just want to see and take advantage of women who are very easily influenced by making a lot of money. I don't want to badmouth women, but we as women in Cryptocurrency still think with our feelings and really have to be more careful.

Well, I completely agree with the op, cryptocurrency has nothing to do with gender, but completely based on personal preferences and decisions, anybody can get into crypto, be you male or female, and by this, I meant to say that I personally have a few friends who are female and are doing really well in crypto, in fact, there have been a few times that they have been the ones who introduced me to a project that in invested in and made few Xs in profit.

So, personally, I do not underrate women, or their knowledge capacity in crypto, crypto is for all and for anyone who desires and loves to be in it, this again has nothing to do with gender.

BTC is for everyone, as well as other than BTC. Yes. Women also have the same rights when it comes to investing, it's just that there are shortcomings that men don't have, but they are very superior.
I don't think there's someone more superior between men and women. They each have advantages and disadvantages that they all use accordingly when investing. Research says that men are most likely to invest in large sums while women only invest in small but regular amounts. This implies that men tend to take more risks while women tend to play safer. Even though, they have different methods both can be profitable and I believe neither is superior.

crypto is very universal not only for men, and I think there are also many women in the crypto world. It doesn't even require a person's educational level or age limit. As long as you have knowledge, it will be very helpful to be successful in the crypto world. Therefore, this kind of freedom can provide the opportunity to change someone's fate, no matter what background they come from. Many young people are also successful, because they have knowledge and luck

Well, I don't think it's a gender thing. In fact, anyone can use bitcoin or cryptocurrency, but whether they want to use it or not, whether they want to invest or not. It's the same as, everyone can gamble, but not everyone wants to. However, each has their own personal reasons. I think, there are many women in this world who take advantage of crypto, I even have several friends on social media who often post about crypto, or show off their assets.

Are there such rules and limitations regarding gender on crypto investment? I cannot remember any. Not a big deal for me as well. We are all free to engage on anything or any investment we would make profit from. No age, gender, and race limits an individual to invest. What should matter most is the knowledge an individual is having before engaging in any form of investment to reduce chances of loss. Saw many topics comparing genders like in gambling, investment, and even decision making in particular with holding and selling. We do have our own ways to engage in an investment however we share the same goal which is to make big profit from this industry.
I just saw a post asking if girls are in the cypto world and am forced to make a post about this because of some comments I read... I want to make it clear that there are actually girls in the crypto world and am definitely proud to be one of the and No! no one actually led me into it, I just came across Bitcoin some time in 2016 and being a very inquisitive person I made my research and fell in love with crytocurrency, however I have made some mistakes while investing especially when I first started but they have only made me better and I didn't let my emotions drive me. Maybe it's because I believe a girl can do almost anything a guy can do too if not all. Although I find it hard explaining to my fellow female friends about cryptocurrency, they all claim it looks like German to them and only a few have been able to adopt it but I can boldly say most of my male friends in crptocurrency were encouraged by me including my brother. But I don't see any reason why a female can't invest in cryptocurrency and I do not think this is something about gender as I know people(males) who are still scared to invest in cryptocurrency so I think it's more like a personal thing and decision.
Am so sure there are females in this forum like me, pls do signify...may God bless our hustle. Kiss

In comparison to boys, I've seen very few girls investing in Crypto. The ratio of girls investing in stocks is a bit high but still negligible compared to boys. Similarly the number of girls gambling are low too. What we can deduce from it is girls don't like to put their money on any risky options. One study have shown girls prefer fixed deposit as investment that means they like to see a constant interest without risk. I as a married man has to talk about my financial decision with my girl and it's hard to convince her that it's safe and better to invest in crypto or stocks. She too has a job and earns so there's not much restriction if I want to invest but I'm the one who doesn't have a bank balance and her salary is barely used.
Well yes it is really a fact but won't be forming any significant correlation. It is just amatter of preference or the idea that male individuals tend to explore more things but without absolute reason of course. We just have our own focus on which we would be using our money in the first place.

Today girls are establishing themselves in crypto currency just like men and they are also establishing themselves alongside men in different communities. Currently, it is seen that women are also working as CEOs of various projects and women are not lagging behind men when it comes to various development issues in the community. Earlier girls used to invest on crypto currency i.e. Bitcoin very few but now girls are not lagging behind men but nowadays girls are investing on Bitcoin.

Girls in the crypto world exist but they're the victim of so much discrimination that they tend to go quickly. It's like in every aspect of life but almost 10x worse. I have always wondered why crypto enthusiasts tend to be so uncultured when it comes to women but the correlation between the crypto community and fridge right wing conspiracies is very close. Then this all starts to make sense...

Misogynists by political choice mostly love crypto. Bringing this to real life it becomes an entire belief system. It's quite sad actually because it could have been a lot better.

Kiss
No matter, anyone can just enter the crpto world. And no one forbids her. Everyone is free to make choices. my sister has also taught me about the world of crypto two years ago.

And why did we decide to pay attention to our beautiful sex in this topic. There are a lot of them among traders and investors, we all have a crypto currency, so I do not think it's worth singling out the girls and guys into separate branches.

Yes but according to the statistics: Currently Cryptocurrencies and blockchain technologies are comprised of a male majority, and only 5% to 7% of all cryptocurrency users are women.

I know lots of women who are actively trading or participating in icos. My wife is one of them. I don’t see any reason why they shouldn’t be doing it. Girls are important part of crypto and their numbers will grow even higher with time. We need woman’s touch in every area of our lives.

Nothing surprising here. From time to time, girls have been progressing like men and they actually do what things do in real life. So if they are in crypto then be it. Nothing to be ashamed of as long as no one is getting hurt. Maybe 20% are women and 80% are men in here.

Actually mostly the mindset of the people that cryptocurrency is for the man only, not knowing that mostly 35% of this forum are mostly bitcoiners is compose of girls, because as far as  i know more girls are very creative and talented in terms of digital currency investment.while in the other hand mostly of the girls are very competitive so we dont neglect them, because like us also they have a right to do,and to be a  part  in this cryptoworld because they want also to become profitable and productive in our country.

In the cryptocurrency market, more men than women do not mean that women are less able than men in this respect, but women are less interested in information data and thus less in the industry..

What are you going on about? Crypto is a man's world? You have got to be kidding with me. You need a reality check. I do agree that there are more male traders when compared to female traders, but this does not mean that this crypto market is primarily meant for male traders only. As you stated, there are plenty of successful female traders in this market. My own sister has been involved with the crypto market for quite sometime and she has already earned substantial profits until this point. Crypto and bitcoin is meant for both the men and women of this world though it is better to stay anonymous.

Infact, girls can have also a better future if they acquire fundamentals of crypto and involve in cryotocurrency trading.
A lot of girl members are seen in biunty board, girls usually have huge number of followers on their social media profiles, thus they might be the ines earning highest reward from bounties

Well said. But the ratio of male to female in this forum is approximately 10:1. It is true that gender does not justify the means of investing and we males are more prone to making stupid mistakes. For example, I was too late to create an account in this forum and therefore I am hardly stucked in this member rank.
I do not agree with you that the ratio of female in this forum is 10:1. Maybe male participants in this forum dominated women but not to the extent of 10:1.  Maybe its about 60:40. This is because I know lot of women who join signature/bounty campaign, investing crypto and even joining trading. When we gather together, we shared our different experiences encountered while engaging in crypto market.  Women all over the world are already empowered and equally risk taker as men.  They are open to new ideas just like cryptocurrency.

Indeed, if anything, we should be welcoming more people, this means more girls in the crypto world. Be as opening as possible.

I already know of quite a few females involved in crypto both working for companies and trading for themselves. The ratios on Bitcointalk are heavily biased towards the men however, but if you think about it trading crypto and taking part in bounties is a perfect part-time hobby/job for new mums to get involved with whilst the little ones take a nap  Smiley

Of course, since I am a girl, I can say with certainty that there are a lot of girls in the crypto world, so we should have the same gender equality, that everyone would be in the same conditions, and I also think that girls who have already a certain period of time they are engaged in crypto, they are pretty smart and not inferior to men!

the ability to invest in crypto does not depend on gender. There are fewer women in crypto than men, because women are less likely to be interested in information and technical innovations. But this does not mean that they are worse in this orient!

I know many girls who do bounties and learning about cryptocurrency. Gender is not really the thing here in crypto, it doesn't matter if what you are, profit matters. If you are interested in knowledge about crypto then you are welcome here, there are no restrictions. Like in networking, girls also makes money through pyramiding and get huge profits.

Actually the economic system really affects on how you will interact to the world, girls are also affected so they also make a way to earn incomes. We all know that girls are socially active and don't have interest on advance technologies but there are social media campaigns that fits to them.

Sex does not matter in the crypto world. I saw both girls and men earning bitcoins.

Obviously it's a male-dominated field (like gaming, programming, CS, etc.) but at the end of the day, I don't think gender matters.

What matters is if you truly know what you're talking about and know what you're doing.

well, let's say that girls who do not succumb to emotions are more like an exception to the rules. Personally, I have met a lot of such people in my entire life. Yes, there are girls in the crypto space but it is not much because this space is dominated by the male as in the financial world. I think the girl is very rare in crypto space, I think the number of girls is starting to increase since 2016 when people start talking more and more about Bitcoin and blockchain in social media and news like CNBC and BBC but before that, I do not think there are girls in crypto.

It so happened that among the guys who are versed in the subject of all sorts of coins, blockchain and other newfangled cryptos in our world the males are an order of magnitude larger. It's understandable technicians we have mostly men.

Kiss
The other day my husband told me that he is going to feel uncomfortable about the fact that some day i will be able to earn as much as ge does. I was absolutely destroyed by his words Angry but then i came up to the decidion that it is too sellfish for him to stop me from financial and intellectual development.

I am also one of the lucky girls who are in the cryptocurrency world.
I saw the news of cryptokitties last December and I was very very inquisitive about it. But no one around me was in this world, I'm the first. So it took me some days to enter the world.
From then on, I started to know about metamesk, ether, bitcoin(which I had heard before but never really knew what it is), etc.
Actually, I've never cared about the gender. It's a problem of interests. I tried to convince my brother of cryptocurrency, but he insisted not.
Besides, I wrote a chrome extension to catch up the price of exchange. I really enjoy being in the world of cryptocurrency.

One more trash thread? Who cares if you girl or a boy? We all traders here and only that does matter. Don't look for any merit just because you have vagina.

I think that the ratio of girls and boys in the crypto community is the same as their ratio on financial and Internet technical sites. It's possible that girls are more interested in some other topics.

I know many very smart 18-22 year olds. All of them are familiar with bitcoin, and a high percentage (60%) know of Ethereum, Ripple, and 'altcoins' in general, tho mostly through their boyfriends. This same demographic one year ago did not even know bitcoin.

"It looks German"?  What an odd thing to say.

Although I can understand your frustration, I'm sorry to say, but does male/female even matter?
If you bring gender wars to crypto than that is just going to be unnecessary stress.
The only thing that matters are the numbers; and they don't care if you are a boy or girl.

But, with that being said, I do have colleagues who are female and invest in crypto.
One of the more interesting things that happened lately, is that one of my students, a 16 year old girl, starting investing at the beginning of the school year (aug 2017) and has already turned .2 btc into 6btc.  Incredibly impressive.

On the other hand, a male coworker of mine bases his profile around eth and has turned 12eth into 84eth in the same amount of time.

Does that mean that men are better than women at crypto trading?

Ugh, why would I even waste my time asking such a meaningless question?

Crypto was open to any gender as long as they are open unto it. Besides all around the world there are lot of girls here in this industry are not just in love into crypto but also addicted unto it actually. Though majority in crypto world was male that's the reality happens.

There are some girls in Crypto, but the space is a male dominated space, ssomeone read above that it is a ratio of 10 :1 male to female but I think it is more than that, to me it is 100:1, male to female. I don't know why it is so but we need to encourage girls to join the space

In fact, in the crypto currency of women there are many more than we think, it's just that nobody asked this question). Don't forget about privacy, many ladies don't want to just publicize their gender). Wink Smiley

Well said. But the ratio of male to female in this forum is approximately 10:1. It is true that gender does not justify the means of investing and we males are more prone to making stupid mistakes. For example, I was too late to create an account in this forum and therefore I am hardly stucked in this member rank.
