The platform is actively developing, for example, trading volumes on the OpenSea NFT marketplace increased by $700 million in two and a half months, from $125 million in June to $828.6 million by mid-August. https://www.theblockcrypto.com/linked/114622/nft-market-opensea-volume-august?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

Offering my late congratulations as well. I've to admit I'm not big on NFTs right now. I'm big on what they might be able to do in the future, especially with this rather confusing period where the adopters are supposed to be content creators but you can see now from most big projects launching, they're just more business people and companies that probably don't have their ideas in the correct place:) Happy hunting for more!

Congratulations with your first sale and knowing that it's been sold within a day, I guess that guy has been looking for the same art or just saw that there's something with your NFT. I'm not with arts nor with NFT as of the moment but I'm aware of the space and what's happening with it right now.
But with someone's victory, it's just so happy to see that you've shared your first success ever with your art.

Thank you so much! It is good to see positivity around here in this forum. It is overwhelming to see a lot of people supporting each other, even without knowing each other.  Cheesy

You are lucky on that instance, because thousands of arts were created in that site.

I thought about creating a project on Opensea using my sister arts nut uet to create one.

Busy life, LOL....
Yes, i do believe i was lucky. And yes, it does take a lot of struggle for beginners to actually stand out and make first sales. I believe that being relentless, determined and optimistic while not expecting any returns should be the mindset. Also building a community of supporters is the key in the NFT market.

Thank you.

How much was the cost to mint your NFT? If you have more interesting art, you might want to use Foundation to auction your art. I've seen a lot of good arts over there from various artists, ranging from 2 ETH to more than 10.
OpenSea charges the 2.5% of the sales amount for selling the NFT and the minting charges are similar to Ethereum gas fees at the time of selling the NFTs only. I believe i need to get a bit more experience and better outreach before I can expand to other platforms. Nonetheless, i will be very happy to check out foundation.org as well and i see how my fortunes turn out there.

Thank you for your support!

Congratulations on your first sale! I remember you were once made a thread looking for which platform suits for your NFT, but I didn't have experience with it so I can't give any input.
Btw, do you have any plan to make the art using other animals? I think it would be good if you make that kind of art using various of animals.

Thank you so much for your kind words.

Yes, i do have plans for making similar NFTs with various animals. Also, i'm taking some time out to improve upon my methods and pretty soon make some art that can be more appealing to a larger audience as well. Also, this will not extend just to animals, but also various objects and people as well.

I am very grateful for your support!

Anyway, personally, I couldn't find an aesthetics on art that made by mainly automation/automated tools. Like, there are machine learning that is able to generate arts. And as you stated you made it using Excel. So, it is not my preference to enjoy that kind of art. Nevertheless, I appreciate the work you have done, I know there is a lot of concept being thought, and the creation process of the formula is taken a lot of consideration. Kudos to you!

Well congratulations for your successful nft sale
Thank you so much!

I haven't visited that opensea sight before but now that you mentioned it here it won't be a bad idea to take a stroll down there and window shop a little
Yes, you could have a look at all the art and collectibles listed therein. And of course, you can always have a look at the NFTs and show your support by liking the NFTs.

you didn't say how much the nft was bought for or it is not a public information!
The NFT was sold for 0.02 ETH (approx. $40). This may not be a huge amount (especially after considering the gas cost of minting NFTs), but it is a huge support for my artwork and a motivation to do more and better next time.

Nft is still a very hot trend at this time so this is the right time to take advantage of it,  am not huge fan of art, needless to say am not worried even if I don't  have a single art but I appreciate the effort put in creating them.
Yes, that is right. And everyone sees art differently and interprets it differently. I do respect your choice and preference. And thanks again for your kind words. It means a lot when someone appreciates the effort and thought that is put into making this project.

Let's create the Indie Metaverse!
Hi Everyone,

To begin with, I am blessed to have joined this forum where I have been interacting with a lot of members and have been able to learn and explore all sorts of possibilities in the crypto space. One such thing was preparing and launching my own automated artwork project as NFT on OpenSea.io. I had minted the NFTs yesterday and to be honest I thought it would take some time before NFTs are sold. To my surprise and delight, I have been able to sell my first NFT within 1 day!! Needless to say I am thankful to Error_404_NotFound who has purchased the first issued NFT and has supported me with this project in my humble beginnings.

This NFT is the first of the 10,000 NFTs that will be minted in the collection Excel Pixel Giraffes. The first 9990 of these Giraffes are created by using automation software on excel and the last 10 would be handmade. Do visit my collection and drop in a like if you do like any of the artwork. I would highly appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
