What are these for, and how can you use them? As far as I can tell, they are just the "knob" in knob-and-tube wiring, except glass instead of ceramic. Do they have some other use that I haven't figured out?
Collectors' items, really. I doubt anyone could find a practical use for them today.

try etsy. they also have a bitcoin group.
Thanks, I'll look into that.

Anyone collect Hemingray Glass Insulators?

My mom has at least a dozen different ones she's trying to sell. Here are three I picked out at random:

AM Tel Co.  CD 121 - Excellent Condition - Asking Price 3.25 BTC

Hemingray 16 CD 121 - Perfect Condition - Asking Price 2 BTC

Hemingray 42 CD 154 - Perfect Condition - Asking Price 0.35 BTC

Shipping is not included in these prices.
