Thanks wachtwoord

I do know about that thread and I've read a big chunk of it.  (the first pages and the last pages when I was looking into the asset)
I am reading it all through now, but it's not right professional that I have to search for the exact posts in a big thread instead of clearly stating it on the asset page (or at least linking to it) ! @GLBSE @GIPPT  #BUSINESS_AS_A_JOKE

Hi guys,

What is going on?  A couple of weeks ago I decided to give glbse a try.  Even tough it really looks amateuristic.
I bought 2 different assets.  One of those was GIPPT, I bought 5 at 0.45 on 10 september.
This was after it became clear that pirate was a bad pirate.  It was still listed so it looked like gippt found another way to make money.   Otherwise it should not be listed, and you should definitely not be able to buy the asset.

GIPPT    5   0.45   2012-09-10 16:20:39

Today I go back to the glbse and i see that i received a dividend from gippt.  At least!

0.5810575   GIPPT   2012-09-25 04:18:42

But when I try to click on the asset, the asset seems to be removed.  When I look in the market, no sign of gippt.
After a bit of searching I found that gippt (why do i have to search for it, instead of listing it on glbse??) is closing down.

Maybe I got this all wrong, but...  Did gippt kept trading until somebody (majority- shares were sold and then decided to close down. ?

I don't really care about the money, it's a very low amount.  But, hey man... this is not even amateuristic anymore.

I hope I got it all wrong.
