It's almost as if this thread is poorly moderated and used by people that don't understand basic etiquette, such as 'search before you make a post'.

That remains to be seen. You can log in and give them an email address, a Bitcoin address for whatever funds of yours they might have, and a checkbox to allow them to pass your info along to bond issuers. I provided that information a couple of days ago, but haven't seen any action on it yet.

This is where it would be nice to have some way for a thread to show up in more than one board. I think the same discussion is happening in Securities, Service Discussion, Project Development, and who knows where else.
All the boards start to become meaningless as soon as you browse the forum using the following link:
Show unread posts since last visit.
And so when you go that link when something major happens, there are 10 threads with the same content! If a single thread could be on multiple boards, it would help that list.

I'm sorry to inform all our users that GLBSE is no longer able to continue operating, and has now closed.

Q: I'm a GLBSE user, what about my assets and my bitcoin?
You will be able to get back your bitcoin, and if you want to reveal your username, email, and a bitcoin address to accept payments with, you can continue your relationship with the issuer of any assets you hold.
We will begin retuning bitcoin once we have recieved all coins from the GLBSE treasurer that manages the GLBSE cash reserves. BitcoinGlobal (GLBSE's partent company) shareholders and board voted for them to be returned immediately, we are awaiting compliance with this order.
