Hi all,

I wanted to see if anyone has any interest in helping to create and manage a Crypto COVID-19 Emergency Education Fund. The aim initially is to reach 500 vulnerable children in the Philippines, but it can be mobilised anywhere in the world where vetted community partners exist (currently we have partners in over 120 countries).

While I know there is a lot of suspicion around 'people raising money for the poor', blockchain offers a unique opportunity to show transparency, traceability and also bypass the huge central INGOs like UNICEF, who in essence, are what banks are doing today. They dominate the NGO space, spending billions on marketing and then using the money they raise to cover huge wages with very little actual money getting to the ground or children who need it most.

DISCLAIMER: I am new to this site/bitcoin in general. I have over 8 yrs of experience running a community NGO in the Philippines. The NGO is accredited and vetted, worked with global partners. I have also worked directly with the UN and seen first-hand how inefficient they are.

Happy to have a discussion here or privately,

Thanks,
M.
