There is a narrative that appeared on Twitter or X where Gamestop and AMC dived into the meme stock and then followed up with the posting of "Roaring Kitty." Now who is she? He was the only one who became the center in the year 2021, the well-known gamestop top trader who had more than 1000% surges in the market, because it was lost for 3 years, and now he just posted the last few days.
Roaring kitty has been quite active on X again, not saying that it has anything to do with this or not, I have no idea if that is the case or it is something totally irrelevant. However, he himself could be doing something totally irrelevant and people could still end up being hyped about it as well.

We need to realize that we are going to end up wit ha lot of people making a lot of mistakes, so it is quite important to realize that maybe he has nothing to do with this. That dude made so much money from all of this that he could retire already, and live a very rich life. I am not sure what his end result was, but he was quite rich, unless he crashed it all and become broke or something, he doesn't have to look at these trendy meme shitcoins.

I hope that the people that got blocked by the apps that they're using to buy stocks or do futures wouldn't have as much problem as they've got right now because the second time that this happens and the people that are in position of power and influence will do the same thing that they've done with those investors/traders, there's going to be some investigations needed to be done because they can't just go on their merry way letting others invest and get losses but when the moment that they start making huge profits, you become a sore loser because you've been losing money is really unfair. My other hope is that this will also happen to the other stocks out there, you know just to screw those financial institutions trying to make money out of us hardworking people.

Well, I think it's true what others said: that the hype is over, and I noticed that there are only two exchanges where this GME is listed: Uniswap and Matcha-Base. Isn't it listed on other exchange platforms?

So I'm still thinking a little bit about whether I should continue to buy this GME, even if it's just a small amount. Then it's up to me if I make a profit or not. Just hold on and see how much I can raise, and when I make a profit, I'll exit.

If we've got meme coins, there's also meme stocks.
But as you know that the crypto developers of memes are brilliant enough and they've made this gamestop crypto.
It's not connected to the real GME stocks but as it's named, the devs made much and those that have held it and rode the pump.
The price went down almost immediately after that epic pump — sorry to anyone who bought it after it had made that ATH because token made around 50% dump from those highs. Unfortunately, I wasn't in any stock memes prior to those pumps so I won't be touching it even with a 10ft pole. Additionally, the narrative/meta is switching from memecoins stock to country tokens ahead of the EURO 2024. Personally, Memecoins don't do it for me so I'll be skipping those as well.
Well, what can we expect from them? But maybe if you are new in here, the event is still shocking to you. You don't need to say or feel sorry for those casualties but you must in fact glad that it occurred to them, so that they will now think twice if they will do the same thing again or not but I'm sure many won't do it again.

You are fortunate to not get involved with it for the same reason but it's great that you are not regretting. IDK what is that EURO 2024 but it sounds like another football event? Though yeah, for sure meme coins are going to ride it as this is what their name implies (Meme) or they are seeking almost every trends/events available around. They won't do it for you obviously but if you want something to happen, you are the ones who will take an action.

In short, he was the reason behind the rise of other meme coins in the market today. If you look at him, he is also like Elon Musk; just by simply posting, there was an immediate rally in meme coins. That's how strong he is to give impact and influence to the meme holders community.

Yeah and maybe a few people made money, and then a lot of people will lose money.

Then some of the few people who made money will lose money.

Then some of the few people who made money will exit.

Then everybody else will continue losing money AND more importantly lose time.

Irresponsible to be saying MAGIC when it's not?

These type of trendy hype coins never made sense to me. These tokens are there because of one thing, which is the fact that it is trying to gain from the name alone. GME was a stock that a lot of people at reddit cared about, so this was done to make it a tokenized version of it, same name and all, and people are buying because of that, there is absolutely no other reason to do this other than that.

I get that we are talking about something that profited some people, so I should feel happy for those people, but I fear that there will be a lot of people who loses money on this eventually as well. Same happened with GME, a lot of people made millions, but also a lot of people lost their entire savings on that stock as well, wasn't good in the end.
It makes sense when you look at this from the point of view of human nature, people want to be wealthy but at the same time they have the desire to achieve that wealth by exerting no effort at all, under most circumstances fulfilling both of those conditions is impossible, so you either work as hard as possible to achieve the wealth you desire, or you give up on it and you accept you will never achieve it but you keep doing nothing during all that time.

However, people see in those coins the potential to achieve all their goals and do so in the way they want, and since there is a lot of people that desire the same, this pushes the price of shitcoins up for a time and it allows a few people to get the wealth they wanted to achieve.

That is because there's connection to the news of the actual gamestop stocks. For which this gamestop crypto whoever made it several months ago.
It's pure hype and whoever is going to FOMO on this one are catching the falling knives. Don't buy with the hype that it has created but if you think it'd still move up, good luck.

That's what meme is all about. Since it's trending, I'll capitalize on the trend around this region

I'll place a bet here and hope it pays off
Good luck.
Typically, when it has already pumped, you're going to see that it's not going to continue any longer. But as long as the traders are actively trading and investing on it, then you can still take that advantage as soon as you've already placed your money on it as you've said, it's trending.
Don't you forget to secure your profits or else you'll lose on it.

Fortunately, I was able to catch some of this madness. Frankly, I did not know much about GME, but suddenly I saw it pop up with a huge rise. I bought some of it, then left it for a bit, and I was surprised that it continued to rise and I made some good profits from it.

What really surprises me is how a single tweet from a man who had been absent for years was able to suddenly appear and his tweet made all this difference.? Are we truly in an era of madness? We have become accustomed to Elon Musk and his tweets in the past, but Elon Musk is a man who has a great position in the world, but to create a tweet from a man who has forgotten all of that is truly crazy!! Huh

If I had money in my US stock brokerage account I'd purchase a small amount just for the lulz, but there's no way I'd take it seriously and hold this thing long-term. At some point the DeepFuckingValue/RoaringKitty hype would once again die down, and so will this stock.

Seems the meme wave is back. Yesterday, AMC produced a god candle, but today it's $GME. How do you explain a token from 2021 making over 1800% in ROI and hitting an ATH of $80 after one tweet from its leader, who went AWOL for 3 years? Not only that, lots of platforms have lined up to list the token. I've been in the crypto world for a few years, and this is right up there with one of the craziest things I've witnessed. Did you catch the GME wave??

Right, i am not sure what these cexes are thinking when listing it. It's an obvious trademark violation and centralized sites profiting from it would get sued if it makes enough fees for them. It's probably fine if it doesn't rise too much, but honestly i don't understand what kind of lawyers these sites have, or do they have legal consultation at all. Dexes are easier to understand. They are harder to control.

But it's weird how people pump tokens with same name when something in real life will trend. Imagine your token having accidentally same name as some future trend, and rising just because of the name. Meme tokens are a really weird phenomenom.

They are up to this game again. I saw the feed yesterday about this which they are saying Wallstreetbets is back and then Portnoy and Tate joined in. I'm sure they are aware of what they are doing which is totally just a game, they are not for retail investors basically but if you can sell first before they dump, why not?

I already saw users up in arms as if this is a revolution against the top big dawgs. Just minimize the amount you want to gamble in their game. Don't go all in. If possible not.
