Smart move on Overstock.com's end for accepting Bitcoins.  It'd be nice if Ebay did the same.

well, if ebay does it, paypal will have to do it.

ebay / paypal will be kicked dragging and screaming into the bitcoin age. They'll be the opposite of "early adopters", whatever the word for that is Smiley

The word for that is laggard.

Thanks, sounds right. That or luddite Smiley

Thanks to you I wikipedia'd that and got a history lesson! Thanks! lol I like that word better.

lol. Yes, I nearly put "luddite" in the first post but not sure how global a term it was ... lovely world for sure Smiley

Imagine how much Overstock could have made on first day if they accepted bitcoin worldwide. Sigh, we will never know.

Hope Amazon do it properly Smiley

Overstock.com is a fairly big retailer and we should show some appreciation buy making a purchase!

Let's all contribute and make them succeed, and thus, Bitcoin will benefit also!

I agree and did Good for overstock and the BTC community!

I would but if you don't live in the States the shipping costs and additional taxes make it difficult.
