I think when you get over 5,000 kh/s solomining or p2p mining becomes attractive.

Furthermore: "Do you feel lucky, punk?" Grin

There are so many pool outtages due to DDOS lately that it really hurts the bottom line for pool mining.

I have two rigs for  litecoin

one hashing 2400 Khas/sec adding another card to get to 3000khas/sec and other 1200Khah/sec

should i go solo or should i keep on mining on pool ....any inputs..

On average you'd get a block every 2 days with that kind of hashing power. There is of course inherent risk with solo mining, while a pool tends to be more consistant.

my 9000kh is definetely not enough for solo. most 10M -30M hash people are using pools.

most effective is give-me-ltc, but recently had some problems, im now on notroll, cause coinotron [which is normaly 2nd place] is overflowed with new people after bitparking closure. I think I'll be back to give-me-ltc very soon . give-me is isnstalling new server and coinotron is reconfiguring for new power. most pools are strugling with enormous network grow.

its a gamble really, difficulty is set to rise so maybe chancing your arm at mining solo might pay off far better if you get lucky.  saying that though pool mining has a guaranteed return.  another gamble
