With all due respect, I think he has taken a huge chunk of unsolved problems to solve. To have a fully scalable blockchain with full privacy it seems like a big undertaking. I get it that privacy is important so that transactions cannot be traced. For example this may be important from the standpoint of one national economy vs another economy if blockchain technologies becomes mainstream one day. But let's give elixxir a chance before judging it in any way.

I am actually hearing of this dude for the very first time and am sure others too will be hearing of him for the first time too, I only know one Godfather in crypto and that is satoshi nakamoto and no other, if he was truly the Godfather of crypto, then he should not be just starting out in crypto when we already have a lot of competitors in crypto and might not have a lot of persons looking to his project because I am sure we have other better projects that have more potentials than his.
Exactly.. It's quite annoying how people want to associate with anything they find making rave.. Someone just comes out of nowhere and gets the tag God father of crypto  Grin If he was so immense to crypto where has he been all this years..  SUQA even has similar better features compared to this hyped project..

I owuld imagine they coin that term because he was the first person to go public with a digital payments app in the 80s. Hence why it ws mentioned in the bitcoin whitepaper

Many have heard of DigiCash it is even stated in Bitcoin's WP, you must not be well informed then.

That is wild. I had no idea it was mentioned in the whitepaper. going to go back and reread it

Well I do not know. It sounds unconvincing. Why he did not support the projects 10 years ago and did not create his analogue? Now his ideas may not bring profit because the market is full of competitors. It doesn't matter what you did 20 years ago. Now your project should be really good.

Maybe David was just waiting until the technology was strong enough before launching something that he is claiming to be better. I honestly think that the competition is good and necessary. It creates new ideas, conversations and collaborations.

Too many strong statements. Everything looks very interesting, but how is everything really? I will follow this project, I wonder what will happen next.

I would recommend people watch that video to . give a better explaination of what they're doing . Encrypted messaging app on top of digital payments will be pretty revolutionary for decentralization purposes. Isn't David Chaum mentioned in teh Bitcoin White Paper?

If you don't already know who David Chaum is and his impact in the world of crypto, then I encourage you to start there. David first invented Digicash in 1989 which was the first form of digital currency. He's been a longtime advocate and educator on topics such as decentralization, privacy, cryptography and blockchain. I was really excited to see that David is coming back into the limelight with his newly developed full-stack platform coined Elixxir.

Elixxir is dedicated to facilitating truly decentralized payments and private messaging to consumers globally via the blockchain. The Elixxir technology represents a fundamental breakthrough in cryptography that enables performance and privacy on a global consumer scale. Quantum-resistance with immediately scalable transaction speeds enable the Elixxir platform to support development, distribution, and durability of truly private, secure dApps without compromising user experience.

Here is a great video that goes more in depth with this revolutionary technology: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qYGwODG3JGs&app=desktop

I would like to hear your thoughts on Elixxir especially with the current discussions around data privacy and protection. Will we reach a truly decentralized social realm?
