Well apparently GB has found a new sudden backing of gold according to the developer of it. That was really fast.

Here's an amusing message,

...

Anyone buying gold with Bitcoin should be very careful.  Gold is a great thing to buy with BTC, but gold can also be bought with CA$H at your Local Coin Shoppe.

If you really want to buy gold (or harder to find platinum) it is best to go with a real company with a real track record.

providentmetals.com and sdbullion.com are both established enterprises, I have bought with plenty of success from Provident.

Just going to post some more information here since goldblocks has a bad habit of trying to hide their fuck ups.

All of a sudden their product is no longer backed by gold and they refuse to answer why they lied.

Original thread post quoted,

Screenshot of where they make their claim of being backed by real gold,

Screenshot of his message saying it isn't actually backed by gold so he cant delete or modify it later,

The folks over at GoldBlocks are currently trying to rip people off with trying to sell small amounts of gold and their extremely low priced coins for 2x their actual worth.

All while saying their new copy/paste currency is backed by real gold. This is not the case and it isn't backed by anything. They delete posts calling them out on it and are doing everything they can to try and make it look like a real currency.

Never have I seen gold be able to be multiplied as they claim it can be done with their Proof of Stake coin that magically generates gold.

DO NOT buy gold from these people. If you are interested in buying real gold priced fairly then I would highly suggest buying from a gold broker or a real company who deals with the exchanging of gold.
