In SFOX's defense I have been an active trader on the platform for the past 3+ years and I know many of the people working there. Your coins are definitely safe there and their customer service is better than 99% of the platforms out there... Most of the traders using SFOX are bigger traders like family offices, hedge funds etc. What really separates SFOX is they aggregate liquidity and larger orders will execute faster than on any single exchange.

You need to be careful for a crypto exchange that does not offer support. You have to be Googling for their social media in order to contact them. That is enough red flag. Try Remitano or Local Bitcoin, they offer escrow to every transaction, with that your fund and coins are save.

I hope you have not been scammed or I did not understand your post?  There are many reputable exchanges and platforms that you can buy bitcoin if you wish and my surprised is that why this unpopular sites.  Coinbase,  poloniex,  bittrex, remitano and localbitcoin are all there for you to buy bitcoin, why starting with sfox. Inc, I hope you have not really put in really money and you are just asking for our opinions before investing?   If that is true then I will said that you should be careful before putting your hard earned money into a site that you cannot withdraw like it happens to me in the past.

Thanks guys...you freakin' rock.  I am extremely grateful.  I did NOT do the transaction yet, because they wanted a wire transfer instead of the pre agreed upon ACH.  So, that is why I wanted to be thorough and concise in checking them out..thank goodness..So, I will indeed go with someone like Coinbase and so forth in the future ; instead of one of the many, MANY 'weeds' ( scam sites ) that are out there.  Now, I am working on why our cryptos are locked up in Cobo Software Wallet...thankfully..that is it fpr technical support..for now..

Kindly,
    Adam R.
That site seems weird to me.. I'm not sure,
Better to get your funds out of there OP, and use a wallet where you hold all the keys. Either Core, Electrum, or Armory for cold storage.

Any company offering "Cloud" or "Custodial" wallets for your improved safety seems... useless.

I also don't see their sourcecode for their HD wallets anywhere?...

Which wallet do you have? former? latter? I have a feeling it's the former
You need to download their software for the cloud wallet as well i'm pretty sure.

Now, I am working on why our cryptos are locked up in Cobo Software Wallet.

I see that there are two kinds of wallet there, one is cloud where they hold your private keys and handles your transactions and one is HD wallet where you hold your own keys. If it's the latter you can just import your seed(or pk) to another wallet as long as you have the 12-word seed.

Which wallet do you have? former? latter? I have a feeling it's the former

This site is not recommended to use if you are trading there and I never heard of them and according to whois, there is no registrant information it means they are too shady exchange. I tried searching it on google but it seems that this site is alive for many years.

I tried checking it with archive.org and I noticed that the sfox name means is Silver Fox Studios according to this archive here
They are selling "UNIQUE SOUTHWEST CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND ORNAMENTS" which is different compared to current website design and offer.

The sfox.com trading is alive around 2015 according to archive.org and I think the owner of the domain is 2nd hand owner.

So possible you've been scammed.

Hope the fund you used to purchased through the exchange is not much because this is what I found about the site in subject and I think the best chance you have now is to contact them through their social Facebook account. Mind you, any crypto exchange site that's doesn't provide a good customers support with contact information doesn't worth it.

Meanwhile, keeping your coins on exchange site is not advisable.

They've been around for about a year or so.  I tried to set up an account when I first learned about them, but they were asking for all my personal info, and I didn't feel comfortable sharing my KYC with a new outfit.  Even if we are neighbors (I live in the SF bay area.)  I haven't heard anything bad about them, but I haven't heard anything good about them either.

Another reasons I chose not to go through with setting up my account was that their fees are more than the other exchange I was already set up with.  So, I use coinbase.com.

Good afternoon everyone.  My name is Adam, and I got into crypto about 6 months ago.  I just learned of this website only about a week ago ( truly.. )so, I got locked in at the $5700 price a few days ago, and was about to purchase my very first BTC through SFox inc. www.sfox.com.  I tried the phone number on hand, but to no avail.  Should I say F it?  There is not too much info that I can find ( my brother, who is also my business partner found them ).  Any information would be beyond helpful.  Lastly, thank you, we are so very thankful and grateful for the enormous information on these forums...it is astounding.

Thanks guys... I mean it...Thank you..

Kindly,

        -Adam R.
