Hmm, I may just have to start mining some ZET on your pool.

Thanks for taking the time to set one up.

A little question: Why is the pool showing that my speed is around 9kh/s but my miner shows ~150mh/s?

Um...My miner shows that it can't retrieve work from the server(Mining BTC)...

Yeah! Thanks a lot for spotting this!
Currently it's one only server handling the three pools. I created three different dns records in case one day I had to split them, to be transparent for who uses it. The Bitcoin DNS record was wrong. Corrected it. Might take a few minutes before it propagates, so you can use the main domain if you wish, http://p00l.co:9332/

Thanks again,
Ka.

Hi there,
not been monitoring the forum for a few days, sorry, doesn't mean the pool wasn't monitored though Wink

I did a server upgrade and now it's got double the resources. Should be better than at launch.
Payouts are handled directly by the p2pool code. I don't hold-out anything, nor schedule it myself.
You get your payment when the "pool" decides to do so. An unusual number of smaller payments, compared to a non p2pool, is perfectly normal.

At the moment I can see that the ZET pool is doing fine, at a nice speed. Waiting you all on the BTC and LTC pools!

Would it be too much asking, if a Mod passing by could move this thread to the Pool section, now I can post anywhere, prefer not to cross post.

Thank you for reading this,
Ka.

No sooner did I post that, that I started getting 'dumps' from p00l.co.  Which is probably why I was seeing my payout shrink.

I am seeing some oddball stuff with this pool.  I noticed only a few people mine here (maybe five total?) and it seems like every day the money stops flowing to my wallet around 5:30 to 6:00 AM (EST -4).  I usually send a note to the admin, Ka, through this forum.  But he has never responded.  Usually it starts flowing again after a few hours it seems like the payouts are substantial enough to make up the lost time.

But today it's been about 8+ hours since a payout occurred, and when I look at the payout amount after I stop mining - it shrinks!  I don't suspect foul play - but I don't know how this whole thing works.  Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this oddity.

I don't want to mine into a void forever.  So I think I will mine back to p2pool.org for now (at least until I see a payout occur from p00l.co).

Ka, you need to state somewhere on your page how often payouts occur.

Other than that, I can't find a thing wrong with this pool.  Nice work!

Nice pool!  It's much more responsive (and profitable) for me than the P2Pool I was using.

I am throwing 1+Gh your way for Zetacoin mining.  It appears that I am the only miner in your pool at the moment.  Hopefully some others hop in here.  :-)

"Come into the pool - the waters fine".

Also - it seems odd that my crappy video card at work (~ 75 Kh/s) is outperforming my 3 X USB ASIC's back at home (~1.1Gh/s) in the number of accepted shares (and SPEED)??  I am using a Raspberry Pi to manage my ASIC's and I have to wonder if I have a network bottleneck at home keeping them from performing well in your pool.  I might need to bring those into work with me to maximize their potential.

Happy mining!

Hi there!

Long time reader, first time poster.

So, first of all, good day to everyone!

Got in contact 1-2 years ago with bitcoins and then left. Decided to come back to them lately and started reading and mining a bit.
Also decided to setup my own p2pool... So in case somebody wants to try it out, here's the link.

http://p00l.co/

This pool is setup for mining:

Pool fee is 1%, divided between author of p2pool and your humble pool admin.

Page is not yet totally perfect, still work to do, but already working.

Take care and happy mining!

Ka.
